    Bonjour et vraiment merci à toi pour ce mod

    Merveilleux.

    Tout comme Otakuxx, je n'ai pas le message « près du panneau hall des champions tu avances d'une case vers la salle et il apparait un message au milieu de l'écran, tu cliques ok et les personnages de départ disparaissent ».
    Je suis sous ubuntu, LoG fonctionne très bien, il est en français, et dernière version de ton mod.

    Que faire ?

    Just got Legend of Grimrock and found this mod.
    THANK YOU! Dungeon Master was a game I played so many times as a kid. This truly does it justice! Awesome!

    Great remake, trying your 2.2 version now and going to play your chaos strikes back with the same party.

    Just let you all know I am writing a novel spaced across 3 books on dungeon master for my website. its really intense and detailed, it took me 20 chapter just to reach treasure stores.

    Je viens de finir "Back into the Dungeon" et je voulais juste te féliciter pour ce mod extrêmement bien fait.
    J'ai adoré les adaptations de certains monstres (ogres bleus et vexirks notamment).
    Et en plus, je découvre que son créateur est français ! ;-)

    Hi i have some game issus,

    first like Vythicus, to the level 2 to the choice room second way to the left there is a trap where we need cast Zo spell to open the door but my spell doesn't work.

    I cast but nothing happened when he hit the door. i use LoG 1.3.7 and i trying with back to dungeon 2.1 and 2.2, i use differents save but always the same problem.

    second issu, when i log with standar party, i have no option to hall of champion to delete the standart team and grab portrait champs.

    third issu, i have no water bar, i tryed to hit "G" or "F" nothing happened

    Anyone can help please ? Thanks

    ce mod est tout bonnement génial, un grand merci à toi compscript et aux autres pour ce magnifique remake.

    j'ai cependant trois petit bugs (j'utilise la version LoG 1.3.7 et j'ai essayé avec ta version 2.1 et 2.2) :

    je n'arrive pas à sélectionner les personnage dans le hall des champions, je n'ai pas comme j'ai pu voir dans les vidéos le choix d'effacer l’équipe de base et d'avoir les dm champions.

    j'ai beau appuyer sur G, je n'ai pas la jauge d'eau qui s'affiche, j'ai essayé avec l'equipe de base, une partie importée rien n'y fait.

    j'ai un petit soucis de bug avec le Zo spell au niveau 2 face à une trappe pour ouvrir la porte qui se trouve derrière, comme j'ai pu le lire au dessous apparemment. j'ai donc réinstallé le donjon, en version 2.1 et 2.1, changer de sauvegarde, rien n'y fait mon zo spell ne fonctionne pas, j'ai essayé sur des portes avec interrupteurs aucun effet.

      Excuse pour la réponse un peu tardive, pour avoir le choix des héros dans le tout début, près du panneau hall des champions tu avances d'une case vers la salle et il apparait un message au milieu de l'écran, tu cliques ok et les personnages de départ disparaissent et ensuite en face des portraits, tu cliques sur un des 4 boutons en haut a gauche en dessous des stats des persos. Si le message n'apparaît pas ou si le sort ne fonctionne pas, normalement cela vient d'une incompatibilité des versions ou d'un fichier corrompu du donjon ou de ta sauvegarde, sinon, je ne vois pas ce qu'il peut y avoir.

    OK I'm replaying this mod again and this is something that stopped my game the last time I tried to play

    At the end of Level 2, one of my characters starts taking damage whenever she moves

    the character in the X position, I drop everything, and I walk forward, the screen flashes red and my Stamina and health go down like I'm carrying too much or starving, but neither are true

    My character doesn't DIE from this, but her Stamina will eventually go to 0 and her health will stop at 4 hit points.

    So if I fully heal, if I start walking, my character's health and stamina go down with every step

    Is there any fix to this?

    *EDIT* DERP, I forgot I need to drink water, lol

    HeyComcript. I've not played Dungeon master for a long long time. I've beaten it surely like 10 times over and over.
    Your mod is truely awesome. You've coded so many cool stuff that actually happens in the real game. My hat of for you sir!!. I wish I could code it like you. I do am modding a dungeon but I'm no where as good as you.
    BAck to topic: I memorized most of the dungeon.. What am I saying. I Remember all haha, I walked perfectly the right way knowing all secrets and puzzels. I guess its burned into my brain 25 years ago but I love it still. Atm on level 3 "prepare to meet your doom"

    I have just heard about your mod yesterday and am pretty excited. I always dreamed of a remake. I finished the original back in about 1989 and beat it quite a few times. It's my favorite game.

    Now then it's been awhile since I played the game, but I have it mostly memorized.

    I have found 1 bug and another issue.

    First issue is that the zo spell doesn't seem to be a projectile, therefore I can't launch it over the pit to open the door. So I'm stuck.

    2nd issue is at the puzzle "step right up, going down..." - i've found a way to break the puzzle which requires reload. If you place something on the switchplate, it will close the pit, however at some point the pit reopens and it puts your item across the pit. This is normal. However, if you go in the pit (i jumped in the pit because I could not stand up to the monsters any longer), the warp inside the pit will put you on the other side, near the entrance, and that makes it impossible to place anything on the switchplate anymore. For some reason when you put an object on the switchplate, it will now warp it across the pit.

    I just test again and zo actually does travel as projectile, yet for some reason it either won't open the door or is being interrupted by the pit. Is this possibly a new bug introduced recently?

    I can also give some more bug reports if they are helpful.

      I think there's a bug with your savegame.
      Try to download the dungeon again.

      I tried but i've got no problems.

      I was thinking that a possibility.

      I am much further in the dungeon at this point (and having a lot of fun, remembering everything! )but I may reload a very early save and try the zo spell, and let you know if it was a bugged save.

      Another possibility is that my LoG version is too low. But I cannot find where to update it. I bought through Good old Games (GoG). I am on LoG version 1.31

      Anyway I found a workaround which may or may not be a bug as well. I managed to click the button to open the door while walking into the pit by being really fast to click.

      This mod only works on version 1.3.7 of LOG.
      But sadly I don't know where you can download it.

      I fell in a pit and there is a flame elemental there and I was fighting it for about 40 minutes, it seems to be un-killable. I've done like 30,000 damage so far, it just won't die. The enemies in general seem to have too high rate of attack and too much health. But I'm convinced this flame elemental is invincible.

      So I guess I won't be able to complete the game. I still can't get zo spell to work anywhere either.

      So I'm thinking of buying the game from somewhere else. I'm not going to buy recent games from GoG any more because of this (they have no patch past 1.3.1). I actually bought the game 2 times (once through humble bundle) just because I wanted to support them so they would bring LoG 2, and so forth. (And they did! )

      EDIT: I just had to download the game again from GoG and then the patch. I guess my version was so old (1.3.1)they didn't bother patching it. So what I downloaded was 1.3.6 and then applied the patch for 1.3.7

      Right now looking for an answer to this unkillable wizard enemy with a lantern. I'm like starving to death during the fight, i have to side step and grab a drink, swing the sword, sidestep eat some food. Plain ridiculous.

      It's in the room with all of the flame elementals somewhere near the dragon. I'm looking for a list of enemy health to find out if it's possible to kill him.

      PS< i have spotted a bug. I will try to give some hints to the location. It's on the level where you first encounter the wisps, spiders and massive knights with the maces.

      The bug is that you can kill an enemy through the sealed door. The enemy is the charging knight with the two maces. The door is the ornate, jewel encrusted door. (It's not this particular door but it looks just like it http://static-5.nexusmods.com/15/mods/161/images/65-2-1367426185.jpg )
      You can just stand there and shoot through the door. Although you can't see him, you can sort of tell when it hits him, and you can kill him after a lot of attacks.

      I noticed this bug when I was trying things out and tried to put a green gem into the door and it actually threw the gem in there instead. This might be why the zo spell doesn't work on my game either.

      So I'm wondering if you were initially right that my game save is bugged but I don't want to start over, I'm near the end of the game so I'll keep going.

      A game saved in 1.3.1 isn't compatible with version 1.3.7. Sorry but I think you'll have to restart from beginning, otherwise you may encounter more bugs.

      The only characters which is invulnerable is the black goromorg in the last level, you'll have to find another way to kill it.

      Yeah I realized that must be the final boss

      I decided to start over a few days ago and haven't had any real issues. The custom party I had originally made was kind of terrible anyway, so good riddance.

      I noticed that usage of water works in this now. Good job on that!

      I wish the Illumulet amulet worked a little better but it works in this version at least

      Incidentally, I was wondering if it was possible to mod your mod. For example, what if there was a silent foot step mod, that just used a sample of silence to make it as scary as the original game. Or what if I record all of the sounds, or even just the monster sounds from the original Dungeon Master and provided them for you? (I particularly miss the teleport/warp sound effect too)

    I am really happy that this mod exists. I have played about 25,000 games and this will always be my favorite. Fully endorsed. This mod will make the greatest game more accessible to younger generations.

    I have noticed in the mod "The Curse of Gothmog" http://www.nexusmods.com/grimrock/mods/378/? , the author seems to have incorporated the original skeletal knight!

    Is there any plan to introduce the original monsters or have you tired of this mod? You know the new enemies, for example the giant charging golem with the two maces are quite awesome in their own right. So I thought it would be fantastic to have 2 versions of "Back to the Dungeon" - one with the classic enemies - redone with 3D models and animation, of course, and another version of the mod with the LoG enemies!
