Glad to see some people downloading this - I was worried halfway through the that the game might be too old. I loved Dungeon Master, and also Dungeons of Daggorath, when they first came out, so the same type of game with modern graphics and a real modding API was something I just had to mess with.
I couldn't get custom animations working, so all monsters use the same animation sets and body types as existing monsters. So the valrokh (read: balrog) doesn't move its wings, and I couldn't redo the slime animations to be more creepy and less cartoonish like I did with the textures.
I will actively maintain and improve the game, and check posts. I can also release some of the more ambitious scripts if people are interested.
