I've deleted the older versions so now only the newest most recent version remains, if the early ending bug is troubling you, delete your copy and get a fresh one.
Admittedly some small bugs seem to be present the problem being that they only show in some peoples games and I can't replicate them (and several others I know have tried too without success).
Here are the two I know of and the way around them:
1. Carthography puzzle: Sometimes the door won't open, I have found in the latest version that this works perfectly in the editor but jams 25% of the time in the exported game, the reason for this is unclear, but if this happens to you try this; the problem is in the left eye alcove, remove the gem and then put it back. If that doesn't work put another item (anything will do) in with it. Since the same action leads to different results in different games this is beyond me as too the cause, if anyone with knowledge of the editor has any ideas post a response on steam or the grimrock forums.
2. Game sometimes crashes if starting Assassin mode: This has only happened once that I know of, the solution is simple, try again. An error report with something along the lines of bad item will display. This is caused by the game failing to load the custom assets that are spawned for this mode, not sure why, and as I've said I know only of this happening once and it was fine when they retried, unfortunaetly theres not not much I can do about this, but if anyone has advice same contact as above

This was made with the current version on the nexus so this version should be bug free as I was able to run through the whole thing without any bugs, still give me your error reports and I'll look into them
Great dungeon with lots of hidden places and well thought riddles. Thank you very much for the walkthrough videos you posted on Youtube, they were really helpful.
I just finished "Paths of the Earth". It was a real pleasure to play it, good puzzles and combats, some new items and monsters (like cold Knights or poison Knights). Maybe just too much texts on "Scrolls" for me (it wasn't easy to do a good translation to understand the real subtility of the text). Thanks for all your work, it 's one of my favorite MOD! I return now to another challenge: "Beneath the Sands" :-)

Problems caused by past updates have been fixed, check the newest version if you have problems, I've tested this and it works, but hey I miss things so let me know your problems
Thanks for the update, but... unfortunately it's still doing it. I take the scroll from behind the curtain, look left, and I'm taken to final credits. Then, if I restart using the auto-save feature, it starts happening randomly (not just at the curtain).
First time I tried it with an imported party. Second time with a new party. At first, I thought I was in luck: opened the curtain and managed to almost clear the opening basement room and then - bang it happened again.
Wish I could help - but have no knowledge of scripting/ dungeon editor.
Hello, great mod so far. I want ask you sth, though. I am stuck in the 2nd level, where a door says "Chartographer give me sight". I put the green gems in the two alcoves, a clinging sound is heard and then nothing. I gound all the items I could think of(and a spear called Snowpoint and a ritual blade). Any help?
Yeah this happens sometimes, I've run tests and it happens to me about 25% of the time, easy fix, remove the green gem in the left eye and place it again.
If that don't work put another item in with it (left side alcove any item will do)
I'm trying to fix this but the fact that it only sometimes occurs has me baffled as to the cause
-Polished Lvl 1: added new decorations, items, and monsters. Removed the pillars that were causing texture clipping/flickering. Alter the layout of the first section of the dungeon proper, removed some barrels from the cellar section
-Fixed the cartographer puzzle, it now accepts a correct answer even if the alcoves contain other items
- Fixed the Heart/Mind puzzle, it now checks the torch combination each time a torch is added or removed, rather than just when one is added'
Sorry bout that; it was a problem in the last file I posted. I have since deleted that file and replaced it, try it again with a new download and if the problem continues let me know
I'm stuck regarding the Sanctuary History secret door—I've used every item I could find from the archives to know avail. Could you offer a hint as to what object I should be trying to place on the bookshelf?
Good mod! I recommend hard difficulty for experienced players. So far it is too easy at normal due to easy access to good weapons and equipment. + good gameplay, lore, moded stuff, dungeon design - could be a little bit more riddles, sometimes the creatures have too limited movement (easy to kill), flickering textures In general: thanks for fun! 8/10
