ADVANCED GUIDE TO CURSED LEGION U15
  PRIMARY MISSION:   Get the 3 corpses of the Dwarven Kings who died long ago and place them in the Holy "Three Altars Sanctuary" (on L21 "Sunk Temple")
  SECONDARY OBJECTIVES:  Get the 40 GOLD Objects
  1.  WITH THE 12 brass keys descend from Level 5 to Level 13 using the "Descent Route" starting from the Junior Missions Hall 
 2.  arriving on DoDamius Temple .... remember how the game started on Launch Dungeon, now you see a very similar set up - as at the start, find the Ordinary Knife and take it with you down the nearest pit, you need it to "force"  the next lock!  Taking / Replacing Torches will not "open" any secret doors here though, OVERALL OBJECTIVE is to get the GEAR KEY which you use to exit DoDamius!
 3.  grab the GREEN GEM and take the Gold key, return to DoDamius, descend the "BREAD" PIT? well you can do, there is a route to Blue Stones II here - do that if you need to restore your Team but don't use the Gold Key here yet
 4.     use the Gold Key on the ROCK MISSION NOW!  Descend the ROCK pit with the Gold key! go straight to the opposite wall of the Gallery, there you find a secret door with a secret button TAKE IT! 
 5    the secret door takes you on a journey through herders and snails so restock on some food but you end up back at the same Gallery, this time find the wooden door and use the Gold Key to go through it
 6   Fight the Large Herder and it will drop a Prison Key, also pick up the Gold Key on the floor, TIP  Zhandul's ORB is near here but check for secret doors
 7   pick up the BLUE GEM before returning to DoDamius and NOW you can do the BREAD MISSION and use the Gold Key there - you should now have all 3 gems, blue, red and green!
TIP there is now a specific Teleporter open for you back in Teleporter Room I that will send you to DoDamius, go into the "Compasses" part, it is immediately on the right (and open)
 8  once you have used both Green and Blue Gems on the Bread Mission return to DoDamius, you find something has happened, several spiders and a Ugguradian have appeared from SOMEWHERE, find out where they came from!
 9  Go on the final mission in Dodamius, the "Throwing_Knife" mission, you must have a Prison Key with you to do this mission! (TIP You can get a Prison Key just be getting the Dismantler Sword on Level 7)  PAY ATTENTION ON THE FLOOR, GEAR KEY IS THERE as you approach end of mission!!10  use the GEAR KEY to exit DoDamius, you should have both the Red Gem and the Ornate Key from previous missions, you will need one of these now, have one of them ready11  enter a strange hall with a placid reception crew around the perimeter, pull the lever by the gate to exit, now use the Ornate Key on the Ornate Gate or the Red Gem on the triple gates, your choice! or do both 12 on using the Ornate Key you go down to the Dank prison and soon see the first pit where the Ordinary Knife is, do remember this pit! It goes down to the Silent Dungeon and in the future is a big shortcut for you, so mark it with an item, e.g. an old pair of sandals
13 once down on the Silent Dungeon move to the right of the Dungeon and go North, you need to end up centre North on the map, find a secret button in the CORNER wall and once pressed you then see a wall marking "TRIPLE BEAST" which tells you that the 3 teleporters on BEAST LEVEL are unlocked (the secret button you just pressed unlocked them)
14 now would be good time to try out the "invisibilty spell" and Grab the GEAR KEY on the way out, ok back to the Dank prison and next pit, you need a GEAR KEY here and be prepared for a fight!
15  you get an Ornate key on the next mission, return with it to Dank Prison you're going to need it for third mission, you land and find attack from Archers, after taking them out immediately use a spare IRON KEY to open a back door for your retreat and further progress
16  Once you have opened the exit with the Iron Lock approach the other side of the room with a Freeze Bomb, pull the lever, advance one step through the doorway, freeze any enemy and pick up the ROUND KEY! NOW retreat through your back door exit!
17 continue through in that direction, remember you need to get some GEMS!  so now the 3 teleporters on BEAST LEVEL are open travel to them, there is a purpose built teleporter in Teleporter Room I to get you there, it is opened by the 2nd compass
18  when you see the 3 teleporters open on BEAST LEVEL for the 1st time take the one furthest away from you and get the BLUE GEM, you also pick up a GEAR KEY there as well
19  Return to Dank Prison with the Gear Key and the Round Key, take the next pit, this leads you down to the Area where you used 1 Gear Key before but now a second Gear Lock is accessable, progress on, without a Gear Key and a Round Key you won't get far!!
20  The Round Key admits you to a CUBES ARENA and pretty soon you find a corridor with a PRISON LOCK, if you have a prison key USE IT HERE, the teleporter room allows you acccess to missions that each provide ONE GEM, if you don't need GEMS you can skip itTIP  when taking the mission to the RED GEM you see a Fireball racing down the hall towards where the RED GEM is, when you reach the RED GEM there seems to be an army of enemies behind it, if you can take 1 step inside that hall, there is a button which will set off automatic defences to wipe them all out, if you can make it through there, on the other side is a KEY OFFICE! (spare keys galore!)
TIP do you need a PRISON KEY? if you do - you're probably stumped right now! OK to get a PRISON KEY go to the place described in STEP 20 where you find a corridor with a PRISON LOCK, there is a LEVER right ahead, pull the lever - the lever that opens / closes the room door just does that, the opposite one OPENS a teleporter to SILENT DUNGEON that will net you ONE PRISON KEY, pull the lever, go up the stairs , find the newly opened teleporter and use it to get the Prison Key
21  Return to CUBES ARENA and pretty soon find the corridor with the PRISON LOCK, use the Prison Key and you see 3 teleporters which offer 1 mission each to gain you a GEM, once you have the Gems return to Dank Prison and insert them in the exit corridor  WARNING To get the green gem you must surrender a DISMANTLER SWORD and an ICE FALL HAMMER, if you don't have these weapons you cannot get the Green Gem
22  Use all 3 Gems to exit Dank Prison - this seems to lead you onto Silent Dungeon but backtrack and find an stairs down that you missed, this takes you to the THREE ALATARS SANCTUARY, immediately lay the one corpse down that you have, at the entrance to it
23   move to ther end where you see brightly lit gratings, fight your way through to the other side of the gratings24   you now enter a Launch Dungeon style arena, if you have a spare blue or red GEM you can use it now at the other side of the hall to access a food stash if your team need food
25  Work out which is the first pit, you get an ORNATE KEY here so with that you could actually exit this new Arena if you wish HOWEVER that would be a false step, take the Ornate Key to the Bread Mission WARNING after getting the Ornate key "SAVE THE GAME" just in case!26   in the Bread Mission you get a Gold Key and Golden "Globe of Tetharion" now head to the next pit27  in the Rock Mission you get a Prison Key and a Golden "Goromorg Minature" now head to the final pit 28 in the Final Mission you enter the Final Teleporter Room but one Teleporter doesn't activate, even when you insert the Prison Key. The one that is dead is the one that takes you to a CORPSE, it will activate later, so remember you need to come back here
29 ok you now have two teleporters open as soon as you insert the Prison Key, choose one - BOTH MISSIONS are tough - going "invisible" might be an idea so that you can spot an "ORNATE KEY" which of course is what you're looking for on the final mission, so that you can exit Sunk Temple!30  WHAT DO YOU GAIN BY DOING THE MISSIONS on Sunk Temple? You could just skip them and use the Ornate Key to exit!  Yes but while you are doing these missions you have the chance to open a lot of secret doors all around and LATER you find that you are using these very secret (now open) doors to get here and there that otherwise would just be closed walls! Plus you gain several gold pieces! and it is great fun as well!
MISSION 1 (from Teleporter Room IV) you see pits and a Golden Globe, from the globe go to the Diagonally opposite corner, press the secret button - this has opened a STAIRS DOWN on the same wall as the secret button but further down, go down the stairs and follow the dungeon to another stairs down, you end up back in the EVIL DUNGEON on Level 17 and you see the same crowd of Super Monsters all around the edge as before but this time a NEW DOORWAY has opened, EXPLORE IT!MISSION 2 (most important) you find yourself in a large hall, the Ornate Key is here somewhere on an alcove, just get it and return to Sunk Temple!31  Returning to Sunk Temple with the Ornate Key, descend to Level 24, Bronze Temple, this is the very bottom of the Dungeon and it doesn't get any lower than this! 32  Each of the four pillars has a Secret Button, start with the pillar diagonally opposite to where you emerge and CAUTION, one pillar's secret button opens a massive section of wall BUT the button only works once, so you'd better do that one LAST OF ALL (when you have obtained Four Ornate Keys!) TIP  one teleporter in Teleporter Room IV never activated but at this stage IT HAS!! Return to Teleporter Room IV now, just go back to the Sunk Temple the way you came, choose the final mission, you end up in the Teleporter Room IV, choose the Teleporter by the flower, look for a LEVER, that opens a door, just beyond it lies the SECOND CORPSE of the Blessed Dwarven Kings, now you have two corpses, the third lies on Level 24, but you need Four Ornates keys to get it33  Return to Level 24 and .... remember how the game started on Launch Dungeon, now you see a very similar set up - as at the start, find the Ordinary Knife and take it with you, press the first secret button, you need four ornate keys - that is your overall mission!34 if you pressed the secret button on the first pillar you came to you would have seen a GEAR LOCK, so if you have no GEAR KEYS this is where the mission with the Ordinary Knife (forcing the lock) comes in, Gear Keys are found on that mission35  when doing the "GOLD KEYS" mission, remember to go "invisible" and on inserting the 2nd Gold Key, don't forget that you should turn around and explore the room, ANOTHER DOOR just opened behind you, containing 3 very important keys!!36  With four ornate keys press the final secret button and enter the final ARENA, careful which Ornate Key you use first, try out each Ornate Key as one needs to be done with the Invisibility spell going so that enemies don't see you37 with all four ornate keys inserted, find the third corpse and take it to the THREE ALTARS SANCTUARY    ** GAME COMPLETE **  well done!!  HOUR 1   video  at: http://youtu.be/amqAGSud7a4     U13HOUR 2   video  at: http://youtu.be/d4mkc0hX-K4     U13HOUR 3  video  at: http://youtu.be/fwq43Ycd9MUHOUR 4   video at: http://youtu.be/M23b2F9CvHs   U13HOUR 5   at: http://youtu.be/r6YMNw9QxbA   U13HOUR 6   video  at: http://youtu.be/MBUOxsTgp6YHOUR 6F   http://s1129.photobucket.com/user/falkor61/media/Legend%20of%20Grimrock/photoBhour6FAILED.mp4.html

  B  find alcove with ordinary knife, take it and DO NOT remove the Flaming Torch near to it, but go to the other 3 Torches and remove them, then put them back!
  C  now jump down nearest pit to where the Ordinary Knife was, don't worry, the other 3 pits are now closed, that's fine!
  D  ignore the Two Levers for now, find the three Crowerns, they each carry an item of value
  E  back up on Level 5, the Launch Area, find the Junior Missions Hall, you see two blue Wyverns behind portcullises and 4 closed pits!
  F  pick up the Ornate Key, this opens the first Junior Pit or four, explore it, then do the other 3 junior pits!
TIP if you cannot get to the Junior Missions Hall because of the gratings, go to the nearest TORCH, pull it away then put it back
TIP consider getting shields from the Soldiers back on the Launch Dungeon, these will protect your crew more if the Missions are tough for you
TIP on the third Junior Mission you must pick up the rock and place it back to open the pit, then be prepared with BOMBS on this one, two spiders that will take 1 of your crew down unless you're very careful
TIP  try not to lose any team members at this stage of the game, the Blue Stones are about an hour away yet
TIP  to avoid letting the Wyvern out, do not go straight up to the spiders, just tip toe to the edge of them so they see you then fight them
TIP  during the four Junior Missions you should find, Longsword, ShortBow, Arrows (aplenty) and Compass - these four items are very desirable, later on the Compass is a "key" which opens a Teleporter
NOTE on the fourth junior mission you see imprisoned (flaming) Uguardians, this is where you can catch a glimpse of the first of FORTY gold, look behind each Uguarddian, each guards a precious object and 1 is a Gold Globe!
  G  back in the Launch Area, ascend the stairs to a small room, pull the lever, it reopens any pits that were previously closed in the Launch Area
  H  back in the Launch Area ascend the other stairs to a maze hunting ground containing snails and herders, hunt them for their meat until you have sufficient food for your adventures
TIP  to get the CROSSBOW ascend the stairs leading to Green Slimes' Doss House, use freeze bombs to kill one of them, you then pass into the main Ugguardians Base and the CROSSBOW is there, look out for a 2nd compass as well (you need it later in the game)
  I Descend the pit by the BREAD alcove, you must have the Ornate Key
TIP you can find Blue Stones I on this mission but you cannot get through the Portcullis entrance, for this you need a prison key
 TIP after finding the GOLD KEY you get the chance in the Crowerns Barracks to go for the Shaman Staff but it could be dangerous, don't worry there is a second Shaman Staff (later) in the game that is a lot easier to get!! 
  J return to the Launch Area, descend the "rock" pit (you need a Gold Key to do that) and find the prison key
  K enroute to the Blue Stones I you find a new passageway that was not there before, find the Gear Key in there
TIP  when you get to the Blue Stones I unload all kinds of kit from your team that is now not needed, into the empty alcoves around (you will know where they are if you need them later, which you probably won't) - you can always get back to Blue Stones I
 L the final pit down from the Launch Area drops you into a room that requires a GEAR KEY, however it'a a big big drop down, you might prefer a shorter drop down to the same place, head back towards the stairs up to Crowerns Barracks and you find a SECOND  new passageway that was not there before, here you find a PIT DOWN, this also will take you to the room with the Gear Lock but less of a drop, plus the first of 40 gold is found here, a mysterious Ancient Apparatus!
 M decide which pit you will use to find the room with the GEAR LOCK (as described above in L) then descend, use the GEAR KEY to unlock the pits and drop down from that room, pick up at least 3 Iron Keys and use them in a special corridor with Portcullises opened with Iron Locks
 N FIRST CORPSE IS FOUND ON THIS MISSION : as you find the different Iron Keys scattered around the Cubes Workshop, look for secret buttons, there are two, one of them opens a secret room containing ONE of THREE corpses, carefully gather the first corpse, very important! At the same time you also find the 2nd of 40 gold, a golden Goromorg statute
TIP  if you get stuck on this level, drop down a pit and find the Spear Wielding statues, follow the spears to a special staircase which leads you back to the room you started at, now drop down any remaining pits until all the pits there are closed!TIP  if there are no open pits to drop down on Cubes Level, remember that LEVERS nearby will open one pit for you!  O Use three Iron Keys in the special corridor, the Axe Wielding statues will lead you to it, the third Iron Lock releases a very important Portcullis Gate which admits you to the Legion Residences
TIP  as you explore the Residences you end up coming across more Gold and keys - but then you are in Teleporter Room I. if you have not found this place before a Prison Key is needed to fully open the place for business, if you haven't got a key then just one teleporter will work and that takes you to the Crowerns Barracks
 P return to the Residences and make sure that you explore the whole lot or later on in the game you will be teleported to one of these regions and unless you already explored it, will be a lot harder (but not impossible)
TIP if you come up against a Blue Metal Door that won't open, have a little look around for a secret button nearby!
 Q  find the Archers' Amphitheatre - here you can use the ROUND KEY to access their back stairs OR let them chase you deeper into the Residences, you soon find a room with alcoves :1 has a PRISON KEY, keep going deeper and you reach further alcoves : superb leather boots and a Leather Brigandine Vest can be found there
 Q1  with the Ornate Key return to Wild Dungeon (SOUTH EAST) and unlock the stairs to Goromorg's Den, here find further Gold - "THE SWORD OF NEX" and looking through the far end Portcullis Gate you can actually see the Third Corpse of a long Dead Dwarvish King ! just lieing on the ground, you can't get it yet but at least you know where it is!
  Q2 take the ironmongery items on the first altar but then PUT THEM BACK, this opens an exit gate for you in case you need it, now try and take any other items you want from this place without losing too many team members e.g the Brass key, the Gear Key, the Nexus Sword and the Heavy Shield are most valuable items
 Q3 So having obtained the Prison Key from the Residences where do you use it? The obvious place is the Teleporter Room I and you arrive back there from the Archers' Barracks after using the Round Key, so do you insert the Prison Key in Teleporter Room I? If you do THREE TELEPORTERS open and TWO of them are major missions to get a dozen brass keys
 R  It could be worth checking back at Junior Missions Hall first to see whether the inner gate behind the blue Wyverns has opened? If it has use the Prison Key here! You get another Prison Key straight back AND you have opened the "ROUTE DOWN START" because this little hallway is the beginning of your route down to the "FINAL PRISON" up to you!
 S  get the RED GEM from the corridor next to the Blue Stones I
 T Go the Cubes Level (L9) and find the gate that is opened with a GEAR KEY, use the Gear Key which you got from Gormorg's Den, find Dragon gold and a further Iron Key, then explore the Ugguardians Base and get the second Compass
 U  return to the Teleporter Room I, you should now have 2 compasses, set them down inside the small "inner" Teleporter Room that has "clues" written on the walls
 V  choose to go on one of the "Compasses" Missions or one of the Missions in the Main Teleporter Room, best one to go on first is the Wardens Mission which is the Teleporter next to the Brickwork Archway, use "Special Weapons" e.g. Fire Sword, Lightning Rod, Lightning Blade to destroy each Warden or at least the one carrying the Ornate Key! Once you have the Ornate key from him, this is your exit out of the Wardens Amphitheatre, the other two Wardens carry great weapons, e.g. LongBow, Ice Fall Hammer
TIP there is a momentous sword to be had now on  LEVEL 7 near the location described in L. The pit down to the room with the Gear Lock but less of a drop, this now has opened a 3rd new passageway not there before and the "Dismantler Sword" is here for the taking!
W  obtain AT LEAST a dozen brass keys then return to the Junior Missions Hall - (L5) and begin inserting Brass Keys for the "Route Down" if you don't have 12 you'll get "stuck" part way down, so really try and get 12 or more
  X  when you arrive at L13 Final Prison remember to seek out all secret buttons around the edge of the hall. They reveal small inner rooms but some have Keylocks for Brass Keys, use a brass key to descend to L15 Dodamius, here seek out the "Throwing_Knife" alcove, move to the nearest wall from there, find a secret button!
 Y  remember how the game started on Launch Dungeon, now you see a very similar set up - as at the start, find the Ordinary Knife and take it with you down the nearest pit, you need it to "force"  the next lock!
 Z  At some point in the future you will NEED a "Dismantler Sword" so if you haven't already got the Dismantler Sword by now, this could be a problem as you have to "swap" it later on in the game for a GREEN GEM, anyhow just bear this in mind as you have a chance to get back to Level 7 soon anyway, so complete the next few missions anyway!
