Heretical Might gives additional skill points and stat points per level-up with increased devotion cap and also significantly alters many skills from the Necromaner, Oathkeeper, Occultist and Shaman masteries. Requires Expansions "Ashes of Malmouth" AND "Forgotten Gods".

This version is a complete rework from the ground-up for Forgotten Gods expansion and 1.1.7.x patches. Necrotic Might is now discontinued.

Changes valid across all player classes.

  • Players gain 2 attribute points per levelup instead of 1. Each attribute point increases Physique/Cunning/Spirit by 5 points instead of 8. Roughly an increase of 25%.

  • Health gain per point of Physique is increased. (5 points in physique give 20 Health instead of 8 points giving 20 Health). Roughly an increase of 60%.

  • Energy gain per point of Spirit is increased. (5 points in spirit give 15 Energy instead of 8 points giving 16 Energy). Roughly an increase of 50%.

  • Attributes at level 1 remain unchanged.

  • Reduced the amount of xp  required for a levelup (around 8 to 12 %) Lots of new content there so leveling won't be a problem in Forgotten Gods.

  • Skill point gain is changed as follows:
5 points per level for level 2 to 25
4 points per level for level 26 to 50
3 points per level for level 51 to 75
2 points per level for level 76 to 100
Roughly an increase of 44%.

  • Devotion Cap raised to 75 instead of 55.

  • Player base Light radius is changed to 20 instead of 12. Roughly an increase of 66%.



Necromancer Changes.

  • Each skill point in Necromancer mastery provides more stats, a small life leech bonus and small energy regen bonus.
  • Call of the Grave has been changed to a toggled sustain. Also provides part of the bonuses to player char.
  • Drain Essense and its modifiers has been buffed overall to do additional Vitality Damage and Vitality Decay DoT/duration tweaked a bit.
  • Drain Essense transmuter now converts aether damage to chaos damage.
  • Master of Death is no longer an Exclusive Skill. Also buffed the %OA bonus the player gets.
  • Harbinger of Souls has increased Life Leech.
  • Soul Siphon has been changed to a toggled sustain. Blood Boil focuses on Vitality damage.
  • The WPS skills Necrotic Edge have been buffed a bit with Necrotic Edge doing Aether damage instead of Cold Damage.
  • Bone Harvest and its modifiers have been changed to focus on Vitality and Aether damage.
  • Added a new distance closer Skill similar to the Nightblade's Shadow Strike. Zoom towards an enemy and hack it in melee :D


Oathkeeper Changes.

  • Each skill point in Oathkeeper mastery provides more stats, a small OA bonus and small energy regen bonus.
  • Summon Guardian of the Empyrion's transmuter is changed to also provide on Chaos damage resistance reduction.
  • Righteous Fervor's has been changed to focus on Chaos and Vitality Damage.
  • Path of the Three also gives % Chaos Damage done.
  • Ascension is changed to a sustain and values tweaked accordingly.


Shaman Changes.

  • Each skill point in Shaman mastery provides more stats, a small OA bonus and small DA bonus.
  • Savagery transmuter also converts Physical/Lightning Damage to Vitaltiy Damage. Also provides a small life leech bonus.
  • The randomness of Buff to Lightnig Damage is removed and the bonus Lightning Damage adjusted accordingly from Savagery modifier and Stormcaller's pact.
  • Added a new distance closer Skill similar to the Oathkeeper's Vire's Might. Charge towards an enemy and hack it in melee... or turn tail in a tactical retreat :D
  • Upheaval is changed to a WPS like Oathkeeper's Shattering Smash. Now does damage in a wave and activates off of all Default Weapon Attacks from 2H melee weapons.


Occultist Changes.

  • Each skill point in Occultist mastery provides more stats, a small OA bonus and small Confusion Retaliation.
  • Blood of Dreeg is now a sustain.
  • Bonds of Bysmiel also gives some bonuses to the player char.
  • Curse of Frailty is a sustain and now also reduces Chaos Resistance of foes.
  • Possession also gives a small energy regen bonus.
  • Added two new WPS similar to the Necromancer's WPS but focusing on Chaos and Vitality damage.
  • Witchfire and it's transmuter buffed to provide More Chaos Damage (and Chaos Dmg Conversion), %life leech to player.

I made this mod to primarily play as a Necromancer with little to no investment in a secondary mastery. The changes generally make game-play easier and also allow you to experiment with hybrid pet necromancers without being gimped. Now also changed Occultist, Shaman and Oathkeeper class trees!

This mod is not balanced and will make your game-play significantly easier, more so if you invest heavily in the masteries altered.
