About this mod
Adds each skill’s corresponding class name in parentheses (e.g., Shadow Strike (Nightblade)) to help you quickly identify which mastery they belong to. It’s a simple text-edit mod for Grim Dawn that makes building and planning your character more convenient.

Description
This mod appends each skill’s associated mastery in parentheses, making it much simpler to see, at a glance, which class a given skill belongs to. For example, “Shadow Strike” now appears as “Shadow Strike (Nightblade)”. It covers skills from both the base game and the expansions.

Installation (Base Game + Expansions):
- Locate the files named tags_skills.txt, tagsgdx1_skills.txt [Ashes of Malmouth], and tagsgdx2_skills.txt [Forgotten Gods] included in the mod.
- Drag and drop these three files into(if "text_en"-folder does not exist, create one):
C:\Users\<your-username>\Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\Settings\text_en - That’s it! When you start Grim Dawn, the adjusted skill names will be visible in your tooltips and skill trees.
- To revert back to the original names, simply remove or replace these files with the backups of your original text files (if you made any).
Installation (Dawn of Masteries):
- Locate the file named Text_EN.arc in the downloaded .zip file
- Navigate to the following folder (Your Grim Dawn Game Dictionary e.g. C:\GOG Games\Grim Dawn\mods\dom\resources):
Grim Dawn\mods\dom\resources - Create a back-up of Text_EN.arc located in the resources folder.
- Drag and Drop the downloaded Text_EN.arc into the resources folder. If asked to replace, click yes.
- That’s it! When you start Grim Dawn, the adjusted skill names will be visible in your tooltips and skill trees.
- To revert back to the original names, simply remove or replace these files with the backups of your original text files (if you made any).

- I used Rainbow Filter in the uploaded images.
- It works for both the STEAM and GOG version of the game.
