Introduction Hello! I am a new player to Grim Dawn. I always wanted to have a more immersive experience in game.
Fortunately i found out this mod Third Person Camera. It helps a lot but i feel the camera is a little too close. I need higher FOV or camera position.
So i decided to modify this mod. It was a challenge. I am totally new to this game's modding work.
After one all day's working and learning, i finally made it!
That is it. Hopes you like this work.
Notes
- This mod has 9 options you can choose. Each option's parameters are listed on the folder's name.
- "Distance" means "Camera Distance". And "Pitch" means "Camera Pitch", which influences camera move up and down.
Installation
- Download and choose one of the files in zip, then unzip the TPC folder into Grim Dawn\mods .
- In game, you should set: main menu → custom game → TPC-world 001.map → creat a new character. (It does not work with Grim Internals for now.)
- Then you can start it with regular game option.

Uninstallation
If you want to revert to the original, simply delete the mod files.
Issues
- Camera rotation too slow?
I think gamepad player would have this question. Unfortunately i don't know how to improve it by modding work for now.
My personal solution is remap the keyboard's rotation keybind to gamepad's stick. It would be faster than usual.
- Close the Distance fog?
I suggest you use Grim Internals. It can close the distance fog totally.
