Just so you know, there's a freecam already. I don't know if I can send links here, but if you google "Greedfall freecam CE" you should find it. Have fun :]

You know how hooked I am on this game. I'm hoping someone will come up with a cinematic tool like Cinematic Film Tools for DAI so we can expand our sceenshot capabilities. And I love your version of de Sardet.

Thanks Pat! You can turn of the UI in the options for a shot although that makes it hard to play so a bit of a nuisance to go in and out. Some additional tools would be nice for sure.

Someone made a ReShade for it so it got onto Nexus :)

No face tats on the character. That pattern on the character is from the Malichor, a plague, as I explained to Aza. Any character you make has it. The sliders are mainly for hair, face presets, brows, eye color, hair color, facial hair, skin tone, and some base presets. And gender.

A lot of the Nauts (a guild of sailors/seafolk) have face and body paints. But your character is a noble of the city and so that isn't an option. I have no idea if the game can be modded.

Spiders is not a big company but they did a phenomenal job with this game considering their limited resources.

Aww what a shame. Everybody has one but I can't! Not cool xD

I really don't like when a RPG has limited sliders.. :'D that's even less than Skyrim had.
But I'm still interested into the game, it looks interesting.

You must not play many RPG's then if your decision to play them is based on number of sliders ... or conversely maybe I haven't been playing the right ones (or we have different definitions of what an RPG is) as I simply don't see many RPG's with lots of custom character options. The ones I have played, or are playing, have even less sliders, e.g. Pillars, Torment, Tides, Kingmaker, Technomancer ... I was glad the characters looked as good as they do in Greefall all things considered.

Only RPG I recall with some nice options, that I have played, has been FO4 and perhaps some of the DA games. Skyrim had a decent number (for me) but it wasn't huge. Some MMO's had some nice options but I don't consider them in the same category.

These pictures look fantastic! Your Fenn looks different than your usual character - more vulnerable, but I like the tattoo under the beard. And that Vasco is.....wow!
This room looks like the atelier from
Johannes Van Meer , the window in the right back corner is nearly the same, and she could be one of his models.
Enjoy that game - and show some pictures from time to time!!

      Thank you Aza!

Well limited in what you can do with characters in any-game as far as reproducing. I could have given this guy hair although none of it would have been as chaotic as Fenn's hair. In the game you play Mister De Sardet, a noble. I just added Fenn in my head as I have played Fenn in numerous games now (Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2, Skyrim, FO) so thought it would be fun. Its the soul of the avatar that is the important thing anyhow and that is always my soul. Fenn is one part of me.

The tattoo is actually signs of a plague called the Malichor which is main part of the story - and finding a cure on this newly discovered island that seems to have avoided the plague. So the main character will always have that.

As for Vasco - he is awesome and in my head would be Mac. He and Fenn are soulmates and whatever world they find themselves in they usually discover each other even if they don't always know who they are on a conscious level. In-game Vasco is a sea caption and he is everything I like in a guy. Commanding, handsome, strong, confident, deep voice, a little rough and tumble but has a good heart buried inside. Very glad Spiders made such a great male companion that can also be romanced by a male player.

Spiders is a french developer. They have a nice eye for detail and inspired by baroque art of the 17th century.

That was a big reply - thank you. After I send the comment I thought about it and came to the conclusion that it might have been a 'slider'-limitation for the character - nonetheless your Fenn looks like a good man to start the adventure (we are all maybe a bit spoiled by the possibilities of Skyrim and Fallout).....and I hope he will find his 'Mac'. I saw the trailer and it looks awesome - just enjoy it )and let us be part of it!)
      Thanks!

Thanks and took me a moment to figure out but think you mean the character - and aye not a ton of options as far as overall look. But that is okay. While spoiled with games like FO4 and Skyrim, I was happy enough that I could create someone I liked and felt matched the personality and role I wanted. Thought the hair was pretty well done but tend to like the short hair and stubble look - and black hair and green eyes tends to be my preference. So this character hit all the right notes. Still with hair, facial hair, colors for eyes and hair, brows, and some basic presets there is at least room for decent enough variety I think.

PS - And clearly you have good taste in making characters lol :-)
