In the base game, the price at which vendors sell items is based on how many they have in stock. If they're over-stocked (because you've been selling), items will be cheaper, while if they're under-stocked, items will be more expensive.
This is silly (because you're just one guy and can't reasonably affect the economy) and annoying (because if you want 50 carrot seeds, the cheapest way to get them is to keep going back to the farmer to buy a few every day).
This mod removes the "inflation" effect of buying multiples of the same item. However, it doesn't affect selling - if you try to sell 150 cabbages all at once, you're not going to get a very good price for them.
