It will always work on latest game update!


Launch your game once to generate your own "SystemData.dat" then copy paste the downloaded save "SaveData1.dat" in "SAVE LOCATION"


SAVE LOCATION
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\GBFR\Saved\SaveGames



EDIT SAVE HEX HEADER 
With your favorite Hex Editor. If no one, try HxD

- Open your newly generated "SystemData.dat" with your Hex editor and copy the first 8 bytes ONLY.
- Paste these 8 bytes on "SaveData1.dat" (byte 4 to 11)

I've renamed the bytes to make them easier to understand. "AA AA AA AA AA AA AA AA" 
Please change it to match your ("SystemData.dat" first 8 bytes)

- Launch your game and load the save.


CHANGE NAME AND GENDER
Name and gender can be changed after Bahamut's fight when you start exploring the land.


MANUAL SAVE
You unlock manual save only when you reach the first Town.

I used Ez Auto Backup to make all saves. 
Save converter addon for EZ Auto Backup can also be used to automate the process if you don't want to deal with hex editor.
