This is a save for Gothic 1 V1.08K with UnPatch V.08. you need your game patched to 1.08K ,Gothic1_Playerkit-2.8 and "G1Classic-SystemPack 1.8", when you install the Official patch 1.08K patch, tell the installer to "search" automaticly" or else it will fail. when installing the playerkit 2.8, click "browse" and install it to Program Files\Piranha-Bytes\Gothic\. (or where you installed the game-as long as it points to the "Gothic" folder) Launch the game using "GothicStarter.exe" in Piranha-Bytes\Gothic\system. ALL credit goes to the UnPatch V.08 mod authors. they made a great game even better. this save is for people who want to skip the beginning and get to the better stuff. all camps are open, all quests for them are done. i did give the "sealed letter" to the fire mages and got a strength ring as a reward. Chromanin unmarked quest was NOT done and there are still critters to kill out there. ENJOY. Aug 12, 2021 Update. If you keep getting A greyed out install path, when installing System Pack 1.8. Then the Playerkit was not installed properly. You will know it`s installed properly when there is "Uninstall-Playerkit.exe" in the Gothic folder. It seems the greyed out install path is A problem for some people. You will have to try different combinations with the Playerkit and system pack to get it right. The setup here is for the English 1.08K version of the game and I use the Gothic1_Playerkit_2.8 from Github.(link in Requirements) Like I said, the Uninstall-Playerkit.exe must show up after Playerkit install, or the else you will get the install button greyed out, when installing the SystemPack. I`m not sure, but It has something to do with the Language of the Game you have or the default install path where the game was installed. I keep having this problem myself and I still don`t know the root of the problem.

EDIT:1-6-2022-Don`t get any files from worldofgothic.com. (English Website) Only get the V1.08k Official Patch. Downloads from this site cause the greyed out installation problem.

EDIT: Aug-7-2022= The greyed out install button will happen if you do not install the Playerkit first. Playerkit 1.08k or 2.8 can both be used. (only one though) Then System Pack 1.8.

If you want to remove dead NPC/Enemies names/labels, that have no inventory to loot. Open SystemPack.ini in the Gothic/system folder change "HideFocus=0" to "HideFocus=1" if it`s not already done. This makes it easier to loot many deadies.
This can be done to Gothic 2 also.
