Intent: My intent with this mod is to provide an update to the standard "look and feel" of the island by adding varying amounts of fog and mist to the island.
In order to increase the enjoyment factor, I've focused on varying the levels of fog/mist to better match the level of urbanization. The more built up areas of the map to the south-east have the least amount fog while the more rugged parts of the map have such thick fog as to reduce your sightlines to tens of meters at most. In addition, the snowy regions are now under constant blizzard state.
Please note: Enemy detection is NOT affected by the fog. Even if you can't see them, they might be able to see you. Thermal vision is your friend as it will be able to penetrate the mist effectively. You may also notice sudden abrupt changes from one level of fog to another. While I'd like to smooth this out, I'm using game files that were never intended to be used. As such, this is probably about as best as I can get it at the moment.
Please let me know if there are other types of weather that I should look into.

Installation Tutorial - TGT_WorldMap
Installation:
- Download and install AnvilToolkit.
- Set up Anvil Toolkit, disable the use of compression in Settings->Files and set compression ratio to 0.
- Unpack WorldMap_Bootstrap_Split_Patch_01.forge
- Unpack 0_-_TGT_WorldMap.data file
- Copy the loose files from the mod download into the new unpacked 0_-_TGT_WorldMap folder.
- Select the WorldMap folder in AnvilToolkit, right-click, and select "Repack" - you should see the message (This may take a few minutes. Be patient)
Finished repacking data file | Successful: 01 | Failed: 0 - Head back up to the top-level Extracted folder in AnvilToolkit and click on WorldMap_Bootstrap_Split_Patch_01.forge
- Right-click the folder, and select "Repack" - you should see the message
Successfully written forge file! - After it's done repacking, launch the game
