About this mod
This mod will improve the immersion of the game by removing some parts of the user interface.

When updating always delete the old files, don't just replace. Sometimes files will change name and you would be left with old files that could cause bugs.
I am no longer actively playing the game, so if the mod breaks or you have issues send a pm. I don't monitor the comments as much.

The goal of this mod is to improve immersion in Generation Zero by removing some parts of the user interface.
Now you get to rely on your sight, wits, and the excellent sound design of Avalanche Studio instead of a magic arrow.
This mod has been designed to work alongside my Clear vision, but i choose to split them up based on visual changes and gameplay changes. So if you also want to remove intrusive graphical elements such as depth of field, lens dirt and more, check out:

Hidden stealth / alert indicator. This is now implemented by the devs, turn this on in the in-game settings
Removed the "press X to cycle" and zoom keybind help when using binoculars.
More transparent Gas mask, combine with Clear Vision mod if you want to remove dirt or scratches as well.
Removed hit indicators. (optional)
Removed "Entered combat" popup. (optional, delete file "reward_sequence.gfx" to disable)
Removed "escaped combat" popup. (optional, delete file "reward_sequence.gfx" to disable)
Hidden crosshair / static dot crosshair. (optional)
Removed compass (optional)

- Select the correct file when you download
There are several different versions with optional features of the mod so make sure you pick the right one for you, all the details on what each version include are listed on each download.
All the downloads include everything it needs, so if you want to use one of the alternative versions you don't need the main file.

- Add the startup parameter to the game
Add the parameter: "--vfs-fs dropzone --vfs-archive archives_win64/initial --vfs-archive archives_win64/supplemental --vfs-archive archives_win64/optional --vfs-fs ." (Without the "") to the game .exe
If you use steam right click "Generation zero" in your library and select "properties". Click on "Set launch options..." and paste the parameter above into the box and hit "OK".
- Place the "dropzone" folder from the downloaded .zip in the root folder of Generation Zero
Default path should be something like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GenerationZero
