Desription

These are the most required bugfixes and basic features to get it all started. Even recommended for "Vanilla" players. Vortex will ask if you want to choose from the optionals, say yes - to download them. Of course you can skip this if you want to use another ENB preset, but for best experience with the modules, I recommend to stay with included presets. Follow the ***Manual Steps*** below to prepare ENB, and choose among 3 different styles. - DAWN ENB, good looking visuals, natuarlistic / realistic - Highpitched Poseidon, fps friendly, slightly fantasy'ish sky colors - Reactor ENB, ***if you want NAC X weather*** - *MUST BE USED*, but works with True Storm as well, great looking ENB, slightly more demanding than DAWN- optional: My tweaks for Reactor ENB & NacX (basicly, makes it even darker, and adjusts light at night)

First Steps

### But before we start, lets make sure that: - You start with an new/empty Vortex profile- For best experience, I recomend to read my [Steam Guide](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2818521483) how to set up Vortex best for Collections. - Install all official DLCs (were available)- Be aware/remember if you have: Far Harbor (FH) and/or Nuka World (NW) - But [ignore]() the official [HD texture DLC]() (do NOT install that one, really, dont!) - Start the game at least once to the main menu, before we continue. ### Also: - You do not need an "Achievement" mod, as you will able to gain achievements by using Buffout! - While we do setup Vortex to start F4SE, we still install "Auto Backup" in case we start Fallout 4 from Steam by accident.

- CPU: i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (from 2017) - RAM: 16 GB - GPU: GTX 970 4 GB VRAM

While I recomend to enable all optional "30 FPS lock" mods, it works well with more:

60+ FPS

If you want to go for 60 FPS, use this:\ ![60 fps](https://media.nexusmods.com/5/8/58a62013-d155-4667-8a0e-47eab86b2bc8.jpeg)\ However, I recomend to only use this if you have a better GPU than me, as the GPU will get hotter than with 30 FPS. Furthermore, you will notice the FPS drops to 30 or 25 A LOT more, while with 'fixed' 30 FPS you will not (as much).
