▫️HOW DO I INSTALL/UPDATE THIS COLLECTION

- **IMPORTANT** Ensure you are running the latest patch of Cyberpunk, current version supported: 2.2 - Older versions might not work with this collection*Note: There have been instances where the version shown will be 3.27 or something similar, I believe this is the way steam shows versions, just make sure the game is running the latest patch on your respective launcher and the collection should be compatible* \ - **IMPORTANT** In the V2077 Settings section, the "Automatically convert legacy-style '.archive' mods to REDmods on install" option **must** definitely be turned off. \ - We recommend you install this collection using Vortex. Standard users will have to download the mods individually, so it is highly recommended to become a premium member to speed up and automate installation \ - Once the collection has installed you may be given a GUI to customize certain mods, and the option to download optional mods \ - If you already have the collection in use, you **must** create a new profile when updating to a new revision. Otherwise, the mods will conflict. \ - To keep the game stable, permanently delete all files in the Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache folder with each new revision, verify the game files (Steam/GOG), then deploy mods from vortex.

🔹In short, the only real differences between NCB and ADR is the body mods and outfits used. Most mods are similar across both collections so in terms of gameplay functionality they will be close to vanilla. However the body mods and outfits available will be user preference, so download whichever collection has outfits you prefer.

🔹While we don't recommend you modify the collection yourself, if you find mods are causing crashes feel free to report them in [discord](https://discord.gg/JB9xwBvx7M) ⁠🦠┃[bugs](https://discord.com/channels/1285796904160202752/1285796905640788030) channel to find a solution, if a solution cannot be found feel free to disable problematic mods, but do bear in mind this could potentially introduce conflicts and issues with other mods that might depend on other mods. So only do so if absolutely necessary. We always advice letting the collection pack creators know so they can update the collection in future revisions.

🔹While we strive to remove problematic/irrelevant mods we can sometimes remove a mod that chooms use. If this is the case please let us know in [discord](https://discord.gg/JB9xwBvx7M) 🟢┃[mod-requests](https://discord.com/channels/1285796904160202752/1286080675119632394) channel so we can re-add it to the next revision, and in the mean time go ahead and manually re-enable the mod yourself from the previous version profile.

▫️why does x character look different/the game looks dıfferent

🔹The nature of updates might fundamentally change the way the game looks periodically, from new menu backgrounds, to new NPC outfits, to new HUDs. So from revision to revision you might notice certain HUD elements missing/added or certain main NPCs might look different. This is likely due to old mods being removed if they proved problematic/obsolete. Or new mods being added to spice up a characters look or add holiday themes to menus.

▫️wıll updatıng the collectıon affect my saves

🔹This is highly unlikely, most mods are cosmetic and only add features to improve gameplay experience, they are unlikely to tamper with the fundamentals of the game, or affect saves. Best practice would be to make sure you know what save file you are on before an update. Then if you do run into issues with a new revision you can revert back to a previous revision and save file.\ \ If you do find issues loading saves I have included a post further down detailing 2 mods that can affect save files. For example updating from R118 to R119 you must have 2 seperate profiles in Vortex\ \ 🔹Have you installed any mod yourself that's not in the collection\ *This is not recommended unless you are certain it doesn't conflict with any other mod*

🔹This is likely due to a mod that you used to create a new game with\ \ Likely mods ; New Game Plus - Native New Lifepath Intro - Fresh Start\ \ In my testing I have found any playthroughs created with New Game Plus will then be dependant on that mod, you must ensure this mod is always present and enabled in the collection otherwise you will encounter the error shown below.\ \ With playthroughs created with New Lifepath Intro - Fresh Start, if this mod is removed it will try to default your save back to "Nomad" liftpath, however it gets confused and will allow you to continue playing, but you will be locked out of any lifepath dialogue/quests. The fix for this is to either install this mod again, or install Lifepath Changer - No Lifepath Restriction, and manually set your lifepath.\ \ Be very careful using any New Game +/New Lifepath mods. As this will essentially lock your savefile to these mods.\ \ Update: We suspect some save files might of been inadvertantly affected by the New Game Plus - Native mod that was present in revisions 116-119. It was removed in 120. If you are having the issue shown below when loading save please try downloading New Game Plus - Native mod from nexus as a likely fix to the problem.
