      Easy fix. Manually replace the original "<Ambient>xxx</Ambient>"
      with the new system GC3 is using.

      dunno about anyone else but I TOO was getting this error on THIS mod while attempting to use it with the latest 4.51 retribution TO FIX IT I abandoned the idea of unzipping it into the my documents mod folder and simply inserted them DIRECTLY INTO the games folder directory in the same structure that the mod maker placed them on upload Im not sure WHY or whats happened but for some reason on the latest game version following directions and enabling mods in game options leads to NOTHING BUT FRUSTRATION Im finding this to be true with ALL MODS

    which one is true? is the file version agnostic or does it only work with "1.2 opt-in or later" ?

    Really liked this mod, doesn't work with 1.7.Game loads but no planets appear and I see a lot of "planet deleted" in the .err file. Tried using merged file with updates and original append method.

    Also posted on GalCiv3 forum, hopefully someone can fix it.

      Turns out the problem was with another mod. Working fine now.

      pretty sure its conflicting with "Gauntlet's Race Mod" bc im getting same problem at start up with this mod.
