This mod pack allows for over a dozen options to customize your Intel Icon selection for each faction, with selection between eight different colors (including the standard in-game color), and a new texture pack for intel icons (with the additional selection of colors). The new texture pack option is designed to be visually distinct from the base-game intelligence icons, allowing for colorblind-friendly at-a-glance distinction between the two if you were to select a separate texture pack between the two sides.



Above is an example battlefield, with Colonials using game default UI icons, and Wardens using the "Retextured" standard color version.



All colors are available in both the retextured versions and standard default texture
versions, allowing for high customization based on preference of the user.
The mods are compatible between factions, meaning you may select a "C" mod and a "W" mod, to customize the Colonial and Warden factions individually.

To find the filetype you desire, follow this template:

  • (Type)_(Faction)_(Color)

For Type, there are two options:

  • Base, which is base game UI type.
  • Retex, short for Retextured UI.
For Faction, there are also two options: C and W, or Colonial and Warden. For color, you have nine options:

  • Five faction-specific options:
  • DarkGreen
  • HCGreen (HC standing for High Contrast
  • DarkBlue
  • HCBlue
  • Standard (Game Default Color - Only available for Retex)
  • Four Generic Colors
  • Orange
  • Pink
  • Purple
  • Yellow
Some examples:

  • You want to recolor wardens to red but not change the base texture. You will therefore be looking for Base_W_Red
  • You want to retexture the colonials but keep them the standard color. You will therefore be looking for Retex_C_Standard
  • You want retextured wardens which are yellow. You will therefore be looking for Retex_W_Yellow
Feel free to mix and match these examples to find the right combo you want!
