About this mod
A mod offering an alternative to the Main Menu backgrounds, with new designs based on older FNaF Games, having the characters being the main focus, and featuring some static and VHS-style effects. Additionally includes a few optional files that allow you to replace the Main Menu's ambience with some unused Security Breach OST.

Each hour's character selection is based on the events of the hour in question, retaining the ability to know what section of the game you're in, while also providing a fresh substitute to the basic slightly-shifting backgrounds of previous. I had a massive amount of fun making these, and I hope you enjoy using them. Also featured are optional music replacers, which will replace the Main Menu's music with different OST, usually ones that went unused on the Security Breach Soundtrack.
New in v2.0: The background video for Ruin's Menu has been replaced, and a new pak file has been introduced to the main file. This pak file replaces the gradient backdrop, which was introduced in the update preceding Ruin's release, with a new version stylized after the modifications made to the Inventory and Options UIs in that same update. Another music replacer was also introduced, for those who want a deviation from the Venta Black standard.
It's recommended that you back up the original MP4 files. One method is to copy them to another folder. I personally add the extension of .bak to them, and remove that extension if needed. These are located in the Movies folder, which can be found at "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Quarters\fnaf9\Content\Movies". However, this can be skipped. The original MP4 files can be re-obtained by verifying game integrity, which will cause Steam to redownload them.
To install this mod, drag both folders into the Content folder, located at "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Quarters\fnaf9\Content". This should result in each of the Hour_#_Menu.mp4 files and DLC_Menu being placed into the Movies folder, while AlternateMainMenu_p.pak is placed in the Paks folder.
Keep in mind that the Main File is not required for these music replacers to function, as they are completely independent from it. This does mean that, if you are not a fan of my change to the Main Menu's background, but want the music, you could install one of these on their own.
Install these pak file by dragging them into the the game's Paks folder, which is located at "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Quarters\fnaf9\Content\Paks". Only install one at a time, as they replace the same audio files, and only one of them will end up working.
