Here, the enemies use an unused behavior tree (it's SeekerSurveyBT) where they freely move to random locations using points of interest (POI). While they still mostly roam in one room, the behavior tree had some tweaks to increase the chances of them going somewhere else entirely (e.g., Roxy walking from the Atrium to the Lobby). Also, note that the enemies talk way less than before so keep an ear out.
Your experience with this mod may vary, as the easily escapable and teleporting AI (Roxy and Chica, respectively) and general game structure kind of prevent this mod from being a true enhancement to the game, but regardless, it makes the animatronics more like proper stalker enemies and allows the stealth aspect to actually work.
There's also a "heat system" from RoomSystems that makes the enemies slowly circle in on the player the longer they're in an area, I used to doubt that this system was actually used in this BT; but when testing this, the enemies do search rooms that I'm in after a while, it works best with any map mods that not only have restored shortcuts, but have expanded AI pathing in them as well.
(The AI Spawning LogicMods and the other files below the Expanded_Navigation pak are optional)
Installing the Random AI Spawn Mod:
- Download UML V2.2.1a: https://github.com/Dmgvol/UnrealModLoader/releases/tag/v2.2.1
- After you export it, open the file, 'ModLoaderInfo' and put a '1' in front of DX12 so it looks like this: DX12=1
- Make a 'LogicMods' folder in the 'Paks' folder of Security Breach if you don't have one already and put the pak file in it.
- Launch UML first and then Security Breach second, and the mod will start running.
The new 'alt' version makes the spawning occur again after 13 minutes have passed, and 5 more times after 15 minutes each, useful if an event/trigger in the game despawns the AI, like the elevators, for example.
(Note that once the game launches, the mod will trigger after 20 seconds, spawning animatronics before you load a save, don't worry though, as the mod will still work when you load a save file.)
