=== FlattenGrowth Mod ===

= INFO =

This mod will flatten the growth of your characters towards level 99 and remove any stat growth bonuses which are influenced by wearing equipment and/or manual leveling. Both features can be toggled individually (see FAQ).

By removing the stat growth bonuses, it doesn't matter how and when you level up, characters can even auto-level before joining your party, you will always end with the same stats and stones on level 99 like you would have before when wearing no equipment or auto-leveling. This will make the game harder towards endgame (less overall stats incl. HP and MP), but on the other hand will not force you to do a LVL 1 challenge to get the best possible stats. Your best possible stats will just be weak no matter what.

To contrast this nerf the EXP table and magic stone formula have been adjusted to give the same stones on level 99 like when all your characters joined the party at level 1. The game will start as usual, but towards the endgame leveling will be less of a grind than it was before and you will be granted with 15 additional stones that you will miss from the missing magic stone bonus. The EXP table adjustment will most likely help to reach max level by the time you reach the end boss. The curve was designed to loosen the high EXP requirements on higher levels. Higher levels will still require more EXP than lower levels, but lower levels will almost require as much EXP as before.

The new formula adjusts the delta EXP required for each level. Delta EXP is the EXP you need for each level to reach the next. The formula is:

MAX(0, FLOOR( (100 - CurrentLevel / 3) / 100 * OldDeltaOfLastLevelToCurrentLevel - ( (100 - CurrentLevel / 3) / 100) * ( (0,6789 * OldDeltaOfLastLevelToCurrentLevel ) / SQRT( Level98To99Delta ) ) ^ 2 ) )

The new Delta EXP is used to calculate the new total EXP points required for each level, resulting in reaching level 99 when level 84 was reached before (40% less EXP in total). However, early levels are less affected, so reaching level 50 is like reaching level 48 before, etc.

Other formulas can be found in the Memoria.ini. For an in-depth look and adjustments on the EXP table there is also an Excel file to mess around with for your convenience. You can overwrite the CSV file as pleased.

Long story short the result is: Earning stats, stones and HP towards endgame is easier, but your possible max stats will be the lowest it can get (except for magic stones). Early and mid gameplay is less affected and will feel normal.

= FAQ =

- How to install only the EXP table or only the removal of equipment bonuses?

Remove the StreamingAssets folder after extracting and installing the FlattenGrowth folder to only remove the equipment bonus on level up, so you will have the original EXP table.

In contrast remove the Memoria.ini in the FlattenGrowth folder to use the flattened EXP curve only, so keep the equipment bonus on level up.

- Does this mod affect the equipment stat bonuses?

No, it will not modify equipment at all, all it does is override the formula for stat calculation of the character.
