Change your character via Cheat Engine. I included characters AoB(Array of Byte) value in Hotkeys(click on "Character" and press Ctrl+H), so scan their AoB and rewrite it with Roche or 3-C SOLDIER AoB
Main character's weapon gonna float so scan it and rewrite first byte to 00 (if it didn't work then try removing mods that are related to that weapon)
OR
Choose who you want to change and drop pak file in ~mods folder. It will remove their weapons and change your character to Roche or 3-C SOLDIER.
Now scan for the ability, for example "Divekick" AoB in "Abilities" hotkeys, and copy paste the address on "Roche Abilities" or "3-C SOLDIER Abilities" address. Set your keys to their abilities and see what each one does. Use the ability through in-game shortcuts, place Divekick to 1 for example, and press it during battle.
Works everywhere, I think (cuz Resident/BattleAbility.uasset has their abilities listed, aswell as their character in Resident/BattleCharaSpec.uasset)
Try another party member If the game crashes on Cloud when using an ability
