This mod was originally created as an experiment to see if it was possible to apply emission to models that do not natively support it while using multiple materials and separated texture setups. This process is made possible by using files from the Intergrade DLC.
Cloud's Cal Kestis saber replaces all swords (more colors soon). Sephiroth's Darth Vader saber is only available in red.
Some of the screenshots were taken earlier in development and make Cloud's blue saber appear more purple. Please see the first and last image for the final version.
Known Issues:
Due to mesh size differences between the Buster Sword and the lightsaber, some collision animations in cutscenes won't have visible contact.
Emission does not work correctly under certain daylight skyboxes (Sector 5, 7, and Wallmarket daytime)
Lightsaber sounds are limited to combat. Cutscene SFX are their own thing (for each cutscene) and far too much work to replace.
Lightsaber sounds do not work with the Nailbat equipped.
Thanks to Guilty for his original Emission weapon tutorials!
Huge thanks to Normie for providing all the lightsaber sound effects!
Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker lightsabers made by the very talented Artem Paramonov.
