Instructions: - Install ReShade - when prompted to install a preset, select XRF FF7R.ini - alternatively, install ReShade and install all the shaders; drop the XRF FF7R.ini into your FF7 game folder and select the preset once you're in-game
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE\End\Binaries\Win64
- If brightness is an issue, adjust the brightness of the game itself instead of modifying the reshade preset, it's much easier and less time consuming.
Note: You don't need all the shaders, so installing the preset alone is enough.
The preset is best showcased during cutscenes, making this already beautiful game look as high quality as I could make it without having to burn my own GPU. Make sure you set your brightness right and don't use HDR, the reshade preset handles that. You have my settings in the media section. Note: The preset was created on an RTX4070.
