Changelogs
I made this mod primarily for my own taste and I combine it with another difficulty mod that makes the game significantly harder. If you plan on playing with this mod on vanilla difficulty, it'll of course make the game a bit easier.

Check out the detailled changes below! If you like what you see, go for it.
If you don't, then you can check on other mods out here that do similar things slightly different.

This mod increases defense stats on bracers significantly while also adding more materia slots to both, weapons and bracers.
Most accessories have also been buffed slightly, some effects have been changed entirely.

Weapons:
- All weapons have one additional unlinked materia slot. They'll cap out at 8 slots total, including summon materia (3 linked; one unlinked+summon)
- Some weapons received slight nerfs, other ones received slight buffs. As it is 1-2 points plus/minus it only really affects earlygame a little.

Bracers:
- All bracers have at least one additional paired materia slot, making some of them cap out at 8 slots total.
- All bracers defense/mdefense has been greatly increased, providing more or less than double the amount in some cases.
  While this sounds drastic, defensive stats do scale basically 4 times weaker than offensive ones so it will not have too big of an impact.
- Some of the bracers now have added effects:

  • Midgar Bangle -> +25HP / +3 MP
  • Star Bracelet -> provides double AP growth, 3 unlinked slots
  • Chain Bangle   -> +175 HP / +5 MP / +3 Strength/Magic
  • Force Bracelet -> has decent def values now and +10% Vitality/Spirit scaling along with 8 slots (improves defense-wise going for lv99; super expensive in intermission)
  • Iron Maiden & Astral Cuff  -> +3% Critchance

Accessories:
- Most accessories received slight changes to make them more competitive among them...

  • Power Wristguards - 5% Strength / 3% Luck
  • Bulletproof Vest - 10% Vitality / 50 HP
  • Earring - 5% Magic / 3% Luck

Installation:
Download then open the rar archive and drag the .pak file into the ~mods folder of the games directory. If the ~mods folder does not exist for you then you have to create it.
...\FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE\End\Content\Paks\~mods  <<-put it there

Compatibility:
This mod does alter the file where equipment data is stored as well as the one for equipment skills.
It also makes changes to resident_txtres.uexp.
I guess any other mod that touches the same files might or might not cause issues.

~My thanks goes out to jordanbtucker and matyalatte, authors of the tools that made this mod possible!~
