UPDATE 1.1.0:
  • Summoning materia can now be bought and sold

  • Optional file to enable cross summons if you purchase summoning materia that belongs to other game and uninstall the base mod. 

This update is fully backwards compatible with the previous, so if you were using the old bonus items mod, you can keep your items in the updated bonus items mod.

INSTALLATION
To install, extract and copy the ~mods folder into your game files under FFVIIRemakeIntergrade\End\Content\Paks.

All mods are standalone mods and can be used separately. The bonus items mod contains all the functionality of the base mod. 

COMPATIBILITY
This mod is not compatible with any other mods that modify equipment, materia, shop items, or summon conditions. You may experience unexpected behaviour if you have any clashing mods installed. 

Any unique items purchased will remain after uninstalling the mod, so you could buy what you need, then install your other mods if you so wished. This does not apply to any bonus items (Reflect Materia, AP Bangle, etc) and they will crash the game if you have saved and not sold them before uninstalling the mod. 

WHERE DO I FIND THINGS?
This mod will allow you to buy and sell unique materia, accessories, and armor. The unique items can generally be found in the following shops:

  • All materia is available in materia shops, and item shops / vending machines which don't have a lot of items to begin with. 
  • All armor and accessories are available in weapon stores

All other vending machines and item shops that sell healing materia will have their existing items most of the following materia:

Secret Vending Machines
A few vending machines have had their original items removed for the convenience of having all unique armor, accessories, and materia not sold in the junk shop. The secret vending machines can be found at the following locations:
  • Chapter 4, vending machine closest to the battle with Roche.
  • Chapters 9 and 14, vending machine in waiting room in the colosseum underground floor.
  • Chapter 17, vending machine next to the VR simulator.
  • Chapter 2 Intermission, vending machine at the beginning of the chapter.

OPTIONAL: Bonus Items Mod
An attempt to add some new gear:

Materia
  • Reflect Materia (Use Shield, Use Reflect).
  • Gravity Materia (Use Orb of Gravity as a spell).
  • Attack Up Materia (increase strength by 25%, no limit to how many can be equipped)
  • Defense Up Materia (increase defense by 25%, no limit to how many can be equipped)

Armor (all new armor has 4 linked slots, so 8 materia in total)
  • AP Bangle: 1000x AP gained for all materia equipped in this armor.
  • Confidence Bangle: Halves HP and MP, significantly reduces other stats.
  • Dark Magician's Bracer: Makes it harder to be interrupted while casting magic, increases magic power by 10%, increases MP by 50%.
  • Warrior's Bracer: Increases strength by 20%. Increases Max HP by 30%. Enter battle with a slightly filled ATB gauge. Reduces duration of detrimental status effects.
  • Minimal Bracelet: materia slots only, no other stat boost.
  • Crystal Bracelet: Increases the effectiveness of healing items, spells, and abilities. Extends the duration of beneficial status effects applied by wearer. Enables Reprieve. Immune to silence/slow/stop.
  • Fury Bracelet: Enter battle with the berserk status effect. Enter battle with a slightly filled ATB gauge. Increases strength by 20%.
  • Super Bracer: maximum status, immune to everything. Götterdämmerung effect and harder to interrupt while casting magic.

Accessories
  • Fast Fury Ring: Enter battle with the berserk status effect. Enter battle with a slightly filled ATB gauge. Using ATB fills the limit gauge.
  • Berserk Götterdämmerung: Götterdämmerung with berserk status and limit break fills on using ATB.
  • Transference Götterdämmerung: Götterdämmerung with full ATB on using Refocus and limit break fills on using ATB.
  • Super Frog Ring: Enter battle with the toad status effect and the auto-life status effect. Immune to everything. Can use Reprieve once per battle.
  • Hogyoku: Götterdämmerung plus max stats, resistance to all detrimental status, limit break fills on using ATB, and harder to be interrupted while casting magic.

These are ones I thought would be interesting to add, I'm happy to take suggestions on what other gear might be interesting to have (custom materia is still a ways off though). Generally speaking, up to 3 effects of existing accessories can be combined (excluding status resistances which are separately adjustable).

BONUS ITEMS WARNING
If you buy any of the items that aren't part of the original game, e.g. Reflect Materia, Berserk Götterdämmerung, AP Bangle, etc., make sure to sell them before you uninstall the mod otherwise your game will crash on any save file that contains references to the bonus items. 

OPTIONAL: Enable Cross Summons mod
Ramuh materia does not work in the base game by default. Similarly, the main game summons do not work in intermission by default. If you wished to uninstall the main mod but keep the summons enabled in both games, you can download the optional EnableCrossSummons mod file. This will be compatible with other mods that alter equipment, materia, and shop items.


Known issues
  • Stores have an arbitrary number of max items that can be offered which is why the items above are not sold everywhere. Some vending machines already have too many items and will not show the full list of materia. 
  • I don't have new icons/images for the new equipment, it's not something I'm planning to learn/fix any time soon.
  • Magnify does not work with Reflect/Shield.
  • Reflect/Shield can only be cast on the wearer of the materia, even if you choose someone else in the ATB menu.
  • The Confidence Bangle reduces your stats, even though it shows some astronomical number next to the equipment stat icons. Refer to the more reasonable negative stat numbers next to your character stats for what it actually does. 
  • Refocus does not work in Intermission. Ninja cannonball does not work in the main game. 
  • The summoning animation for materia not originally available in either game doesn't work 100%. Characters will stand awkwardly for a few seconds until the summon enters the battle then everything is normal.
