FF7 master materia sell fix
This changes the Final Fantasy master materia sell modifier from 70 to 2.
This patch attempts to fix the midgame economy and is designed for use with my hard mod, FF7BATTLER.
ONLY works on FF7 1998 VERSION. Your FF7.exe should be patched to version 1.02

This changes the Final Fantasy master materia sell modifier from 70 to 2.
This patch attempts to fix the midgame economy and is designed for use with my hard mod, FF7BATTLER.

Could be used with any hard mod, tho, or just by itself.
This patch ONLY works on FF7 1998 VERSION. With 1.02 patch. Your FF7.exe should be version 1.02. ORIGINAL EXE 1.02 no crack or modification. I believe this ff7.exe is in the 1.02 patch zip file.
The tool Lunar IPS is used to patch the file as the original exe is copyright SE. It patches only 2 digits of hex code in the exe.
This may not work on non-english non-US versions.
Of course ALWAYS back up your original ff7.exe first before apply this. (i like to back it up in a rar or zip file) original one date should say 1998.
Please comment if the IPS patch does not patch properly although I am relatively sure it should, will test it momentarily
thanks to Octopath Traveler game's grinding for gold, somewhat inspired me to make this.
ps- found out after making this, if you have 1998 version (only that version will work), you can do yourself using tools/apps WhiteChoco or the new ff7exeEditor, instead of hex editor. 2012 version and PSX version have different code, so its near impossible. =(
