This mod replaces all Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster OST tracks with Advance GBA OST. It includes a modified music player that adds missing tracks to bring the list to 80 and modified all track lengths. Extra track names are available in all languages.
About the GBA tracks
- Tracks came from MIDIs ripped by GBAMusRiper. Some MIDIs have been modified.
- Used XMPlay to convert MIDIs to WAVs.
- Tracks sample interpolation is linear.
- Tracks doesn't have reverb and chorus effects.
The following tracks have been modified and timed to match the timing of equivalent PR tracks:
- Omen 1, 2, and 3
- Overture 1 and 2
- Aria di Mezzo Carattere
- Wedding Waltz - Duel 2 and 3
- Balance Is Restored 1 and 2
The following tracks have their sound effect removed before converting to WAV:
- Phantom Train
- Slam Shuffle
- Dark World
The following sound effects have been replaced with GBA ones:
- Train SFX (Phantom Train)
- Rain SFX (Slam Shuffle)
- Breeze SFX (Dark World)
Installation
- Download the files linked in the requirements.
- Extract all the downloaded archives into the game folder.
