Hey there ,
I'm fao! co-author of The Brave Steel Sprites by AceroSteel. I present to you my first dabble with full sprite editing, I've created this alternate version specifically when moving around world of ruin where i expect the characters to have certain post-apocalyptic look and vibe. I refenced the colors of most of the alts based off of Yoshitaka Amano's artwork put on top of Brave Steel Sprites by Acero Steel. These sprites are by no means perfect.
Brave Steel 2.0 Compatibility
- all sprites are compatible to brave steel 2.0. Some sprites are now either the default or now part of the Brave Steel project as well as all fixes has been incorporated to the main mod
Requirement and recommendation
You need to have brave steel sprites installed first.
Sane Alt Pack
- contains all the preferred sprites for sane alts bundled in 1 pack
Sane and Amano Alts
- Amano Celes is based from TiraRemy's sprite with recolored and redetailed corset and inversed color sleeves with saturation matching Acero's Steel original design

a thinner version of sprite and a nod to the

Sane and Amano Alts
- Blue eyed Interceptor - this started out as a simple swap of sprite as the Brave Steel's default actually uses the dog sprite with red eyes . now it is a full set of alt as this is more consistent Interceptor's eye color but also all effect in game animations are now based of this particular sprite.
- Old Ver Shadow - Based of shadow's old ver sprite colors but i made it extremally more darker and warmer
- Old Ver Blond Gau - Based of Gau's old ver sprite but with ash blond hair and darker pants

- Regalia Edgar (left) - a full dark prince regalia outfit for edgar
- Gerad Mode (Center) - Based off an amano key artwork and psx fmv where he sported a brown armor oddly reminds me of his Gerad disguise
- Apocalypse Edgar (Right) - you know that mandela effect when for a long time in your brain you thought edgar was wearing green all this time then you inspect closer it was just actually lining of this armor on his snes sprite ..
