This mod changes the game's entire soundtrack to be that of the original Famicom release. A very conservative low pass filter has been applied to the tracks to preserve the sound the tracks were meant to have, and to save your ears and sanity.
You may choose between the "Purist" option or the "Enhanced"
Purist: Contains only tracks from the original Famicom release.
Enhanced: This includes an unused boss theme, "Battle Theme 3", which was composed by Uematsu for the Famicom version but never used in any game since. This theme is substituted for Battle Theme A and B (two of the boss themes), while the regular battle theme and the final battle theme remain the same as the Famicom.
Installation
After downloading the zip, unpack it to the root of the game's install folder. That's the one that contains the game's exe file. Overwrite anything that comes up.
Then simply boot up the game and enjoy! This is 100% compatible with any other mod that does not alter the soundtrack.
