I'm not sure if this is even possible? My biggest complaint with 16 is not being able to switch between your regular party members, I would love to play as Jill and Cid! 
Someone made a mod for FF7 Remake where you could switch out the party via cheat engine, I'm sure it will take time to figure out if its possible though. I would be extremely grateful if someone with the knowhow could figure it out! (I know 16 has only been out a day though so its no rush)

    FF7 remake has the ability to play as other party members baked in where this game does not, so its impossible unless someone reconstructs this entire game in the FF7 remake engine. Maybe you can use a mod to asset swap Clive then also mod his abilities to match the party member but to be able to swap live using a hotkey I doubt it

      Yeah I did think this, party members do have attacks though as you can see them using abilities so I wondered how much control we could have over them. Plus Yoshi P said they were considering an update to make party members controllable so it made me think the infrastructure may be there. I know very little about modding though so I don't really know how the difficult the task may be. 

      A guy can dream though haha! Model swaps may be the closest we get though, I've been so excited for 16 to make it to pc because modding opens so many opportunities! I cant wait to see what the community does with the game!
