There was always something about vanilla ignis hair that I never liked so, Absolutely love this. Still fits his personality while (imo) looking so much better.
Hello! You're having trouble finding how to install this? I know my reply is months after yours, but I can help if you still need it. Please be aware this is going to be long-winded..
1) Go to where you have installed your game - for example, I have it on Steam, so it's SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>FINAL FANTASY XV 2) Enter the FINAL FANTASY XV folder and find the "datas" folder. Inside "datas", find the "character" folder. You want "nh". 3) In the "nh" folder, I strongly advise you to copy "nh03" and have it in a safe place, because files in there are what you're going to replace with the Drenched and Wild mods. Make sure nothing goes wrong and you can put the game back to normal when you feel like. 4) Go inside your Drenched Hair or Wild Hair mod folder and keep going inside the folders in this way - datas>character>nh>nh03 - and you will come across a pair of folders inside "nh03" called "model_000" and "model_200". Inside each of these two folders is a file called "autoexternal.earc" 5) From the "model_000" folder, copy the "autoexternal.earc" file and go back into your FINAL FANTASY XV folder - basically follow step 2 until you find the "nh03" folder again. Inside "nh03", find the folder "model_000" and paste your "autoexternal.earc" into it. Do the same thing for "model_200", although obviously copy it into the folder of the same name. 6) Start the game up and you should have the hair mod applied.
I've only tried the Wild Hair mod for FFXV and I don't know if you can use them at the same time? But I do hope these instructions are clear and it succeeds for you. Let me know if you need further help. Have a good day and happy modding! :)
Hmm, when I install drenched the mod works fine, shows the slightly wilty-haired appearance. When I install wild though, Ignis's head is just gone completely. I tried version 1.0 and 1.1. I am in very beginning of the game, not using any other mods on ignis besides occasionally the blue shirt one but I tested it on and off as well. I can revert to default cockatoo ignis or drenched ignis fine, but can't get his cool hair-down version to work : / any insight?
