Hey! I'm curious, would it be possible to make this into a Flagrum mod? It'd just be nice to be able to use this without touching the main files of the game
I've tried doing it myself but the file ending is different so I'm not really sure what to do
These look great except for Noctis. I commend you for doing such a great job on everyone else but Noct looks way too feminine. While everyone else seems to have just higher resolution textures, Noct got changes made that look awkward, his redder pursed lips, his longer eye lashes, darker tone around his eyes making it look like makeup. He looks like a drag king. I can't recommend the Noctis file.
If anyone needs the original files, you can send me a PM since I made backups. Just thought I'd offer since a couple people were asking for them. BUT... better if everyone makes their own backups before replacing the files. :)
Edit: If anyone needs the original files, I added them to a 7z archive. After extracting the archive, you'll have 4 folders, 1 for each character. For the character whose files you want to revert, open that folder, copy the "datas" folder contained within and merge it with the game's original "datas" folder. By the way, this mod contains all the original backup files too, but the archive I put together will make things simpler and it's a much smaller file size to hold onto since it only replaces the necessary files.
Thank you so much for these, I adore them! Honestly the only FFXV mod that’s essential for me.I wanted to report a bug with Prompto’s complexion, for some reason his much more detailed complexion is bugged around the neck/neck seam, it’s not noticeable in his regular attires but it’s super noticeable in his Hyur attire. (Left is without mod and right is with.)
I spent a few hours trying to fix this (no 4k, with 4k, turning in game settings on and off one by one), and this mod is what causes the weird neck seam shadow ):. The fix was putting Prom’s default face texture back, I realized this after re-verifying my steam files and then I was able to try with and without the mod back to back to really confirm it. I’d like to also add that Gladio’s detailed complexion doesn’t have the same problem in his attires/outfits without his shirt on, so the bug with Prom’s detailed complexion is possibly (hopefully) fixable.
Not a deal breaker at all, I choose this over the vanilla 4k complexion any day because it’s just beautiful and so much better. But I do hope that this can be looked into at least. Thank you again!
Unfortunately, the main file doesn't seem to be complete any more - Ignis and Gladio's new complexions show up fine, but Noctis and Prompto just disappeared when I installed them. Not sure about Iris and Cindy yet - literally just hopped in game to see if the Chocobros were glitching at all (the answer was yes). Will edit this post if anything's gone wrong with Iris and Cindy. EDIT: Iris and Cindy are working fine as well, it's just Noct and Prompto who disappeared when I tried to use this mod, so I just restored their character folders and have left Ignis, Gladio, Cindy and Iris's new and beautiful complexions alone.
