I created this mod since the Engine Blade is my favorite weapon, and aesthetically I prefer the silver color scheme more than the gold, so I was pretty bummed out about upgrading the weapon since I had no way of changing it back. Let's just say I'm very very picky lol.

WHAT THIS MOD DOES

This mod replaces the Ultima Blade's textures and removes all gold from the weapon, giving it a look similar to that of the Engine Blade but without any gold or gold accents, while still keeping the awesome red lights on it and the oiled look of the blade.

This mod does NOT change any stats, and shouldn't affect your save file either, it is simply just a texture replacer.



To install, extract the files from the ".rar" file,

Drag and drop the "we01_201.earc" file into the following destination:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XV\datas\character\we\we01\entry"

Replace the file inside, and overwrite.

Then drag and drop the "autoexternal.earc" file into the following destination:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XV\datas\character\we\we01\model_201\sourceimages"

Then replace the file inside, and overwrite.






Make sure to create a backup of the old files somewhere in case you ever wish to revert the changes!
