Ryder Odison was an ongoing auto mechanic, living alone with his brother Reks after his parents had passed away early. Both of them kept living and maintaining the business as usual but one time things took a turn. A zombie horde had ambushed them just as they were getting ready to return to their home after a recent task they completed. They were trapped and his brother knew that there was no way out for both of them. So he sacrificed himself for Ryder, who in turn got attacked himself, forced to end his life at this point only to awaken as something else. By a supernatural twist, Ryder had somehow overcome death and as a result became stronger than before, able to protect those he loves. He is a special occasion as a zombie, who still inherits a conscious mind and acts like a human, even if his appearance is failing to express this. He found someone, who shared his situation but struggled to gain her trust...

Now with his new strength...he wants to protect people...so they never share his fate...
