hands down the best preset for ff14 and i have downloaded and installed nearly every one i could find here and elsewhere , but sadly i have a bit of a problem , i got myself a quest 2 and i am using helixvision(3d mods/fixes for games) , and someone was able to get reshade to play nice with helixvision and it does work but the preset it comes with only changes sharpen,color and one other not sure what it is nothing major , the author of reshade did say that other presets should work so anyone can install whatever preset they want ,the presets i have do show up in the reshade menu but when i click on them in the menu nothing happens all i see is the preset that comes with the reshade provided ,i posted a comment on the steam discussion for helixvision see if i can get any help/info there and here too , btw i am by no means an expert lower then a noob even when it comes to this stuff so any help/info is more then welcome .
Not sure if I'm setting it up wrong, I'm new to trying out mods but I followed the tutorial you made on youtube (thank you for making it so clear!) but when I turn on the effect it just makes my game look super grainy?
Unfortunately while in the game and clicking on the preset, it doesn't load your effects and settings. I can manually change the settings (so reshade works fine) but can't load your settings. Thank you for your work!
Hi there! Thanks so much for the awesome mod - this is my first foray into modding games (after way too many decades playing MMOs), and the difference is remarkable! Were you planning on updating the config file any time soon? The install for reshade.me has changed quite a bit since the youtube and I'm not sure if it still works correctly with your config file (in particular I noticed there are fewer ticked boxes in my install than the one in your video). I'm tempted to do my own digging but figured it would be worth checking with you first. Either way, thanks again :-)
Heyo there. Lemme first say that I'm glad you like it. Fortunately, I got back into FFXIV. I'll check it out as soon as possible. I've also tried installing new ReShade since the installer is completely different. I believe I've linked the legacy build used in the tutorial video (also the version I like the most) somewhere in the description. If not, check again in 10 minutes. I'm gonna link it. It's the official thing but just an older version that's the same as in the video.
And since you're new, I guess I might as well tell you that this is a graphics injector with .DLL files (dynamic link library) hooking into the game. It doesn't change anything in-game, doesn't edit memory-related things and thus is completely safe as well. Then again I'd suggest you don't tell everyone in /shout that you're using mods. lol *Eventhough, technically this isn't a mod because it doesn't modify anything.* Aaaaand you're welcome.
Hello dude, very nice mod i thank you for that. But sometimes in different maps, the music change from itself to the music of bahamut. I want to change that.. Ty again :)
lol wut This doesn't tinker with that at all. Dunno what you can do to change the music. Pretty sure there's some .DLL hook out there to tweak the music, though that might get you banned.
can anyone help me? i followed all the steps but when i launch the game and log in it gives me an error and auto closes the app. i have the steam version of the game.
