Background music, with the original lyrics, taken from the Japanese PS3 copy of the game.

Songs: The Promise, The Promise - Sunleth Waterscape and Chocobos of Cocoon (chasing dreams) are different in the original PS3 Japanese release of the game. However, Square Enix did not bother to make two separate versions for the PC language options, so no matter what language you choose to play the game in, the songs will always be the ones from the English version of the game.
This mod offers these three songs, taken from the Japanese PS3 version of the game, properly looped.
The differences in the both versions of The Promise songs are only in the lyrics. The most noticeably different is the Chocobos of Cocoon song, which is entirely in Japanese.

Instalation (v1.1):
1. Unpack the .RAR you have downloaded anywhere on your PC.
2. Find a .BAT script and click on it.
3. A prompt asking you to select the FFXiiilauncher.exe will pop out. Click OK, navigate to your FFXIII installation folder and select the FFXiiilauncher.exe file. On selecting the file, the mod will begin the installation.
4. After a while a message "Patching is complete. Continue to close the installer." will appear. It means the installation was completed without any problems and you may close the installer by clicking any key on your keyboard.
Instalation (v1.0):
This version contains only the sound files. If you for any reason want to insert them into the game directly by yourself, you can use this method.
You will need either Nova Chrysaila or ff13tool.
1. Unpack your game. Using Nova just select your game and click unpack files. Using ff13tool by clicking extrack_imgc.bat.
2. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIII\white_data\sound\pack\8000
and place the files in there, overwriting the existing ones.
(2.2 If you are using ff13tool, repack the game by clicking repack_imgc.bat)
4. Once done, simply launch the game. When using Nova you have to set the game Filesystem to Unpacked mode and launch the game through Nova.
