This mod allows you to change the hair color of the 6 main characters to either a predefined color, or completely customize the color.  It uses the existing DDS image files so there will be some variation between characters for the same color.  This mod changes the hair color for both the main character model as well as the model used for in-game rendered cut-scenes.  Unfortunately, the prerendered cut-scenes and static pictures will remain in the original color.

The color is determined by the (R,G,B) value (Red, Green, Blue) selected.  However, other "maps" used in the rendering of the hair will have a fairly significant affect on how the colored is viewed.  Also, this mod uses some calculated averages on the original image to determine the adjustments necessary to achieve the desired color.  These are not completely accurate and also affect the final quality.  If the color isn't exactly what you want, the mod lets you specify your own (R,G,B) values and you can adjust the numbers for each character.

Note: Version 1.1 or higher of this mod is compatible with the base Model Swap mod providing you install both mods in the same directory.  You will need to reapply the hair color after a model swap.  Version 1.2 is also compatible with the alternate models optional file and the mod "Lightning Returns to Cocoon"
