This FFX sphere inspired license board replaces the existing license board for all 12 jobs... This master license board includes all licenses. The job you select determines your starting location on the license board and which licenses you will have immediate access to.

This FFX sphere inspired license board replaces the existing license board for all 12 jobs... This master license board includes all licenses.  The job you select determines your starting location on the license board and which licenses you will have immediate access to.

The license board is divided into 3 main quadrants each separated by a quickening lock . (Black Mage, White Mage, Red Mage and Bushi are located in the north quadrant; Uhlan, Knight, Foe Breaker and Time Mage located in the west quadrant; Shikari, Monk, Archer and Machinist located in the east quadrant).  You can move freely in your starting quadrant but to access a second or third quadrant requires a quickening... Ultimate tier licenses also require a quickening lock, so use them wisely.

INSTALL

VBF Browser is required!

1.) Load VBF Browser and open the FFXII_TZA.vbf file found within the main route directory of Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age... Then inject the 12 license board BIN files to /ps2data/image/ff12/test_battle/in/binaryfile into the FFXII_TZA.vbf.

2.)  Download the No Staring Licenses Mod and extract battle_pack.bin. Then with VBF Browser open the FFXII_TZA.vbf and navigate to ps2data\image\ff12\test_battle\us\binaryfile and inject battle_pack.bin.  This will allow you to start Zodiac Sphere from the beginning with all conflicting starting licenses removed from the main characters.  (alternatively instead of doing this you can also just download my optional save file in the Zodiac Sphere files section;  this save file uses/replaces the 8th save slot and will start you will all 6 characters, at level 16 post leviathan with their starting licenses already removed and no selected jobs)

Be sure to make a back up copy of the FFXII_TZA.vbf


0.1b Fixed to remove license bridges between the west and east quadrant; moving between these two quadrants now requires a quickening as intended.
0.1c Updated/Improved some of the license paths and re-added the 10th gambit license.


CHARACTER STARTING LICENSE PROBLEM


There is an issue with character starting licenses. Currently the 3 quadrants are suppose to be separated by a quickening lock... unfortunately characters starting licenses can by-pass these locks as they give you access you certain areas of the board regardless of your starting job... this is not intentional.
