The Insurgent's Chain Benefits

Description

A chain is a gameplay mechanism that involves defeating foes of the same type multiple times in a row.

There are 4 chain levels, each one with their own chance to increase the rarity and quantity of drops from foes. The chain level increases after defeating a set number of foes.

At certain chain levels, looting a drop from a foe can bestow the party with certain benefits. This only includes hp/mp recovery and the status effects protect and shell (more info here).

Features

This mod allows to modify the benefits the party receives from looting drops while chaining foes. This includes:

  • HP Recovery
  • MP Recovery
  • Add Status Effect
  • Add Augment
  • Level Up

Each benefit has their own chance to trigger and can be applied to the party leader only, the entire party and even foes.

Notes

If you want to list this mod as a requirement in yours, you can do that, but only under the condition that you only upload the configuration file from this mod in yours. If you use anything else from this mod, I will report your mod for breaking my copyright.

The idea behind this is that whenever there is an issue with this mod, I can publish a bugfix without requiring you to update your mod. That way a player always gets the latest features and bug fixes from this mod, while also not bothering me with old issues in case you are no longer actively maintaining your mod.
