This Mod is an alternative version for "The Struggle for Freedom" Mod, changes Jobs, Magicks, Techniques and License Boards inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics from 1997.

This Mod was intended to be an alternate version of "The Strugglefor Freedom" Mod, inspired by the classic game Final Fantasy Tactics from 1997.

- White Mage
Actions: White Magicks (Cure, Esuna), can cast some Geomancies
Equipments: Rodsand Mystic Armors.
- Dark Knight
Actions: Unholy Sacrifice, Drain HP and MP and can Equip Genji Set.
Equipments: Lances, Greatswords, and Heavy Armors.
- Chemist
Actions: Panacea, Suspicious Potion, Itens Lore some Time Magicks.
Equipments: Guns, Hammers, Some Shields and Light Armors.
- Geomancer
Actions: Geomancy (Water, Wind), jack of all trades job, with a variety of Magick.
Equipments: Crossbow, Axes, Shields and Mystic Armors.
- Holy Knight
Actions: Breaks (Reduce foes status), cast some White Magicks, can Equip Genji Set.
Equipments: Swords, Shields and Heavy Armors.
- Monk
Actions: Chakra (Recover fixed HP), Revive and some White Magicks
Equipments: Unnarmed, Knuckle and Light Armors.
- Time Mage
Actions: Time Magicks (Slow, Haste, Stop, Etc).
Equipments: Maces, Measures, some Shields and Mystic Armors.
- Oracle
Actions: Mystic Magicks (Poison, Blind, Silence, Etc).
Equipments: Poles and Heavy Armors.
- Archer
Actions: Angel Song (Grants Regen), Itens Lore, Steal, Poach and some Mystic Magiks.
Equipments: Bows and Light Armors.
- Black Mage
Actions: Black Magicks (Fire, Thunder, Blizzard, Dark, etc).
Equipments: Staffs and Mystic Armors.
- Samurai
Actions: Traveler (Grants Haste/Float), can Equipe Genji Set, some White Magicks.
Equipments: Katanas and Heavy Armors.
- Ninja
Actions: Thrown Weapon, can Equip Genji Set, cast some Time Magicks.
Equipments: Daggers, Ninja Swords, Shields and Light Armors.
-> Magick System
- White Magick: Not much has changed, with a few spells being used to Mystic Magicks (Dispel, Dispelga and Confuse);
- Black Magick: Now the Black Magicks are fully focused on fire, ice, thunder and dark element damage, the spells that inflicted negative status were
transferred to Mystic Magick;
- Time Magick: Not much has changed either, some status inflicting spells have been given over to Mystic Magicks (Ìmmobilize, Disable, Bleed, etc). Now some Time Magick can deal Earth elemental damage (Quake, Quakega and Meteor);
- Geomancy (In place of Green Magick): In addition to the typical Final Fantasy 12 spells (Decoy, Oil, Bubble, etc.), some spells with Water and Wind
elements were added;
- Mystic Magick (In place of Arcane Magick): Specific magicks of the Oracle job. Magicks aimed at inflicting negative status on enemies.

- White Magick: Cure, Cura, Curaga, Curaja, Renew, Rise, Arise, Blindna, Vox, Poisona, Stona, Cleanse, Esuna, Esunaga, Protect, Protecta, Shell, Shellga, Faith, Bravery, Holy (is now AoE);
- Black Magick: Fire, Fira, Firaga, Flare (is now AoE); Blizzard, Blizzara, Blizzaga, Frezze (in the place of Scouge), Thunder, Thundara, Thundaga, Shock (in the place of Toxify), Dark, Darkra, Darkga, Ultima (in the place of Scathe);
- Time Magick: Slow, Slowga, Haste, Hastega, Stop, Reflect, Reflectga, Quake, Quakega, Meteor, Balance, Vanish, Vanishga, Float;
- Geomancy: Water, Waterga, Tsunami, Aero, Aeroga, Tornado, Decoy, Oil, Drain HP, Drain MP, Bubble;
- Mystic Magick: Poison, Bio, Blind, Blindga, Silence, Silencega, Sleep, Sleepga, Dispel, Dispelga, Confuse, Immobilize, Disable, Bleed, Berserk, Break, Countdown, Death;
-> Techniques
The techniques have undergone a significant change, in the game it will be possible to acquire the following techniques:
- Remained Original: Steal, Poach, Libra, Charge, Shades of Black;
- Chackra (Instead of First Aid - Now recovers a fixed amount of HP without MP cost, being interesting to use outside of battle);
- Panacea (In place of Horology – Removes Slow, Stop Petrify and Doom Status);
- Unholy Sacrifice (In place of Souleater, only the name was changed, the effect remains the same);
- Traveler (The name kept the original, but the effect is now to grants haste and float to one ally, costs MP);
- Holy Explosion (Instead of Numerology - Holy Area Damage based on Weapon damage, costs MP);
- Mind Break, Magic Break, Armor Break, Weapon Break (Instead of Shear, Addle, Expose, Wither respectively - Only the names have been changed);
- Sanguine Sword (In place of Achilles - Damage target and restores HP equal to damage dealt);
- Angel Song (In place of Gil Toss – Grants Regen to all allies, costs MP)
- Bad Breath (Instead of Charm - Inflicts blind, poison, slow, confusion to one foe, costs MP);
- Fervor (In place of Sigh Unseeing - Grants Berserk, Haste, and Bravery to self);
- Suspicious Potion (Instead of Shades of White [Infuse] – Switch remaining HP with MP);
- Erase (In place of Stamp - Removes all statuses of the character, negative and positive);
- Revive (The name remained the same, but now revives with a defined percentage);
- 1000 Needles (The formula remained in the original, but its use is faster);
- Thrown Weapon (Instead of Telekinesis - Only the name has been changed);
-> License Boards
All License Boards have a standardized layout, facilitating the visualization of changes in each job. The cost of licenses has also been changed, so that early game licenses are more affordable while late game licenses are harder to acquire.
The number of licenses for accessories is also changed, making it possible to unlock all accessories in just 13 licenses (previously there were 20 licenses), in order to maintain the difficulty, the value of the licenses has been increased.
-> Other improvements and changes
- it is no longer necessary to equip the accessories Thief Gloves or Diamond Armelet, some classes can learn the augments named Thievery (Improves steal accuracy, and may steal multiple itens) and Tresaure Hunter (Search the deepest recesses of chest, coffers, and the like).
- The Staff of the Magi has been changed, empowering fire and dark spells.
- Potions Lore, Ethers Lore and Phoenix Lore have been rebalanced, making using itens more interesting.
- HP Lores have been improved, increasing a greater amount of HP.

Installation
If you have difficulties, you can see some pictures to facilitate the installation in the "Images" section of this page.
1 – Download and install the Vortex Mod Manager. You may need to create a Nexus account in order to download the manager and the extension/mod. (available at https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/1)
2 – Download the following files;
2.1 - FF12 External File Loader (https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy12/mods/170)
2.2 - FFXII LUA Loader (https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy12/mods/171)
2.3 - The Struggle for Freedom (https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy12/mods/59)
2.4 - And this Mod file (Tactics Reborn);
3 – In the "Games" section of Vortex found on the left-handside of the screen, select Final Fantasy XII. Select "Manage". You may be asked to install an extension for FFXII mod support. If so, go ahead and click Download and proceed.
4 – In the “Mods” Section of Vortex, select the 4 “Rar” archives grab and drop in the "Drop File(s)" field
5 – When installing The Struggle for Freedom Mod you will be asked which version you want to install, select SFF;
6 – Vortex will warn you that there are unresolved conflicts, this is normal to happen, as The Struggle for Freedom and Tactics Reborn use some of the same game files. To resolve this, just click on “More” and then “Show” and finally select FFXII SFF (before) while Tactics Reborn (after) will be automatically filled in;
7 – In the “Mods” Section all 4 files above must be Enabled;
8 – Click the trianglular play icon for Final Fantasy XII at the top ofthe Vortex manager. This will launch the game. If successful, you'll see Struggle for Freedom's new title screen. Enjoy!
Compatibility
This mod changes the files in the test_battle/us/binaryfile/ folder, as well as the license boards, so other mods that change the same location will not be compatible, in general mods that change Jobs, Magicks, Tequinicas and Boards will not be compatible.
However graphics-oriented mods (like Re-Upscaled and Enhanced Faces,outfits, etc) are welcome.
Any other mod related to the game's interface will also have no problems running.
