About this mod

All save and teleport crystals, and cutscenes with the same effects throughout the entire game now have certain features removed, being:
-Healing Party HP / MP / Mist Bars
-Removing Negative Status Ailments

(You can chose only to have Gate Crystals do this, or both gate crystals and cutscenes in the multi-installer setup)

Permissions and credits
Changelogs
Use Vortex to install, with the mod loader and lua loader downloaded.

This mod is a part of the "Brutal Collection", aimed toward making the FFXII experience more challenging. Other such mods would be FFXII TZA - Brutal Auto Save Overhaul.

This mod will allow you to play the game more reliant on how you prepare before going into locations, more focused on which items you have, what your gear is or how you utilize your magic as running low on those resources could spell the end. When save crystals and some save points/cutscenes allow you to fully heal HP/MP/Mist Bars and remove negative status ailments no more, it will become more a struggle to think and act accordingly.

I checked thoroughly already, however, if you manage to find any issues with this mod then do please let me know so I can correct it immediately.

(This is actually a part of my main overhaul / difficulty mod "FFXII - TGD"s next major update, but I figured people might want the experience as is, or maybe to use it with their own or other peoples mods. If you're interested in the progress of that mod since it's been over half a year since I did anything publicly, you can check this update log HERE)

MOD COMPATIBILITY
-WORKS WITH STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM OVERHAUL MOD
(Regardless of which 4 mod variants you select when installing FFXII SFF, install SFF first, then install this mod after, and finally select to load this mod's files after SFF and it will work fine)
-Should work perfectly with at least 99% of mods as of 2020/07/21 as even large scale mods editing .ebp files don't usually if ever modify these particular ones. If a mod isn't compatible, let me know and I'll try to add the proper patch for it.

These are .ebp file edits, if you use a mod that already modified these very specific files but still want to have this feature added, so for example, if you're playing a large overhaul mod or are making your own mod that utilises these files already and want to add extra difficulty in this way, then you would have to look for all 95 .ebp files in this mod (Or if you only want certain crystals/cutscenes to act that way, then those particular ones which you can view individually in the docs section above), unpack them, open the xxx_xyy.c file (the main script file inside each unpacked .ebp folder), search for "healall" and remove the main function for it, in each file. 99% or more of mods don't modify these specific ebp files since no enemies are ever present, almost never is a treasure present, and only now and again are NPC's present, so it should be safe for the majority of mods, but for the larger ones, I'll make compatibility.

CREDITS
RaidenRipper helped me by finding the "healall()" function, so I knew which thing to change in order to allow my crystals or related game instances to function in this way.
