About this mod

The goal of the mod is to encourage a richer endgame.

This mod changes various endgame Weapons and Armor to make them more interesting than simply stronger versions of plain weapons and armors. It also makes all bazaar recipes repeatable. The idea behind these changes was to encourage farming and crafting endgame gear instead of cheesing Trial Mode.
The license boards have also been revised. One board contains all the licenses and is laid out similiar to the original PS2 version of the game (credit: m9l5t1). The other boards focus more on what their respective job is meant to be. The biggest LB change is a job named the Summoner. It is a very physically weak job that dabbles in all the magics, but it is the only job that has the licenses for the espers in the game (except Belias which all jobs have in order to ensure the game isn't broken for a particular story part).

Plans for the future
The current release (Phase 1) doesn't change any of the treasure chests in the game, however I do plan on modifying these in the future, specifically in Cerobi Steppes. I plan on making it so that those chests, instead of containing endgame equipment, will have rare crafting materials. Likely in such a way that they will align with what was originally in the chest (if the chest contained a Venetian Shield it would instead have an Undine Halcyon).
I will begin Phase 2 after I play through from start to finish Phase 1 to make sure balancing is perfect.

Weapons 
Invisible Weapons have been made visible

Swords
  • Broadsword - ATK increased to 17, never made sense that it had the same attack as a dagger.
  • Simha - ATK increased to 110, equipping it grants Bravery and Haste. Model changed to Chirijraden (Reddas' weapon)

Daggers
  • Gladius and Mina now grant haste when equipped.

Axes - wanted these to be more viable, they still use the random formula, however they have a flat 45% combo rate and their base ATK rating has been increased by 5.
  • Golden Axe - equipping it grants Bravery and Haste.

Hammers - wanted these to be more viable, they still use the random formula, but now each one can inflict different status ailments on enemies.
  • Iron Hammer - Sap
  • War Hammer - Immobilize
  • Sledgehammer - Disable
  • Morning Star - Blind
  • Scorpion Tail - poison
  • Vrscika - KO (50%)

Hand Bombs - wanted these to be more viable, they have had a massive damage boost across the board but still deal random damage. They also provide a small amount of evasion now.
  • Hornito - +5 eva
  • Fumarole & Tumulus - +7 eva
  • Caldera & Volcano - +10 eva
  • Makara - +20 eva, equipping it grants Haste.

Maces
  • Bone of Byblos - 25% chance on hit to cause a bunch of bad status effects (stop, sleep, confuse, blind, poison, silence,sap, disable, immobilize, slow, disease)

Greatswords
  • Tournesol now grants Bravery and Haste when equipped.

Katana
  • Kumbha - equipping it grants Bravery and Faith.

Ninja Swords
  • Mesa - On hit poison and sap, +15 spd, equipping grants Vanish.

Poles
  • Kanya - On hit Immobilize, equipping it grants Bravery and Haste.

Rods - All Rods have increase bonus to magic attack.
  • Holy Rod - equipping it grants Faith and Shell

Staff - All staves have increase bonus to magic attack.
  • Staff of the Magi - +potency to all elements.

Guns
  • Mithuna - 25% chance to KO on hit.

Crossbow
  • Tula - ATK increased to 100, Crit chance 40%.

Arrows
  • Artemis Arrows - are no longer earth element, instead they have a 25% of causing the stone status.

Armor
Gendarme shield is now visible

Shields
  • Aegis and Demon Shields are now similar but opposites having 35/50 evade/Mgk Evade and Absorb Holy/Dark.
  • Venetian Shield - 60/60 evade/Mgk Evade and halves all elemental damage (model changed)
  • Zodiac Shield 75/75 evade/Mgk Evade and halves all elemental damage

Light Armor
  • Dueling Mask - +10 speed, equipping grants libra and float.
  • Mirage Vest - +15 speed, equipping grants Vanish.
  • Brave Suit - +20 speed, equipping grants Bubble and Bravery

Heavy Armor
  • Magepower Shishak - equipping grants faith
  • Genji Armor - equipping grants Haste
  • Grand Helm - equipping grants libra, shell
  • Grand Armor - equipping grants Protect, Lure

Mystic Armor
  • Circlet - equipping grants libra, faith
  • Lordly Robes - equipping grants 1/2 mp cost

Accessories
  • Ribbon -  also grants immunity to KO, Stone, X-zone added
  • Diamond Armlet - grants libra instead of absorbing lightning
