This Fields of Mistria mod aims to fix various inconveniences with the fences already available in game, with the addition of matching (purely decorative) gates.
The mod should not conflict with any other mods that change the existing fences as the changes are not cosmetic.*

Use MOMI to install the mod. Pretty simple!

Sad at the lack of fence gates? Tired of not being able to center the Moongate in front of Caldarus? Frustrated about not being able to match the fences to the existing ones on your farms? Don't worry, I got you!

What this mod changes:
  • Centers all fences to make them look more symmetrical and makes them able to be positioned more freely.
  • Offers 4 different options for the unremovable border fence all around your farm. Instructions to follow.
  • Adds 2 more fence types - the alternative wood fence you can find in your farm and the taller stone walls.
  • Custom made gates for the 4 types of fences! - Picket, Basic wood, Alternative wood and Stone fences.
  • Adds a winter variant to the Basic wood fence.
  • Minor adjustment to the Picket fence* (specifically the 'down end' sprite, which is why it will overrule/or be overruled by other similar mods)

For the extra fences and the gates - You can buy the recipe scroll at Balor's - they will also be unlocked by default on a new save file.

Instructions: By default I have set the border fence to look like the basic wood fence. To change it back to it's original or the picket/stone version, copy the labeled file in "fiddle/borderfence/" from inside the mod and simply paste it back in the "fiddle/" folder.

Note: Gates do not currently work, they are purely aesthetic. So you will have to keep jumping over them. I have not tested if they keep the animals in.
I do plan on adding 'open' variants at some point that will let you simply walk through.

As always, I have more ideas for more custom fences too, so stay tuned!

Please Enjoy!
