About this mod

This mod adds an assortment of 40 custom classes to Fell Seal. The mod pack is a compilation of all my classes so far.

Permissions and credits
UPDATED AUGUST 15TH 2020
-Removed several classes that were based on other games/media.
-Should now work with new DLC.
-Please report any issues.
-Will re-add Siren, Warlock, and Baron at a later time.

UPDATED MAY 26TH 2019
-Removed Affleck class (was a joke for a friend and neve rmenat to be in the public version).
-Made a variety of fixes - still more to do.

UPDATED MAY 21ST 2019
-Added Myrmidon class (will add promotion class Swordmaster later)
-Added Dazzler class (Final tier in Fool class line - Fool < Magician < Dazzler)
-Fixed a variety of issues ranging from description errors, skill errors, etc. There are still issues to fix - mostly in more advanced classes that I still want to unlock/test.
-Changed skill effects of some skills - more changes will come as I see the release versions of all skills/abilities.

UPDATED MAY 2019 - RELEASE VERSION.
-Fixed issue that should now allow the mod to work again. Download the new main file and overrite the old.
-Most classes should work without issue - some will have issues - with this many classes it will be difficult to balance. Play this for fun.
-Let me know if any skills have issues.

v1.3 Change Log:

-So it's been a while since I posted an update - been absorbed into Octopath Traveller. So I may have forgotten some of the changes.

-General Stat Growth Changes to some classes.
-Fixed Pictomancer final skill
-Fixed Monk final skill.
-Class Promotion growth from Medium to Nightsister to Oracle - should now work.
-Added Moogle class.
-Added Feral class.

UPDATE JAN 20TH 2019
v1.1 Change Log:

-Fixed missing Artist class skill - Tryptch. Skill should work now.

-Fixed skill naming issue for Shinobi (Let me know if issues persist).

-Changed Artist class name to Pictomancer. This broke my save file. If you are upgrading from 1.0 to 1.1 the same may happen to you - therefore you may have to start a new game like I did. For new users be sure to use v1.1, this will not break save files for new users and can be used with your active save file.

-Added new custom classes: Machinist, Arcane Archer, Magic Knight, and Saint.

-Added a range of custom portraits that I use. I do not own any of these portraits and all credit goes to the original artists. If anyone wishes an image removed please let me know.

*Still investigating issue with Courtesan final skill (made a few script changes). Let me know if this fixed the issue.

This mod pack adds an assortment of 20+ custom classes to Fell Seal. With the high number of classes - balancing may be an issue - so use at your own risk. Feel free to let me know of any balancing suggestions.

These classes have all been inspired by Dark Fantasy and/or Final Fantasy sources. You will see a nod to different characters/classes in some of the custom classes. (Example: Ex-Solider is clearly a nod to Cloud Strife from FF7)

Keep in mind - some classes like Martial Artist and Monk - appear weak early but do get significantly stronger at higher levels when built and leveled.

Some classes have unique skills, while others borrow from other classes - including monster/enemy skills. Some classes use a variation of special class skills - so your special classes may feel less special.

Most classes are also setup as enemies as well - so custom classes will appear as enemy units and/or sub-classes. This can create highly challenging battles later in the game - so beware of party wipes if some classes are OP. (Again please let me know so they can be balanced better). It is quite possible to have an OP party or an OP enemy team.

Also keep in mind some custom classes require other custom classes to unlock. Example: Medium leads to Nightsister and that leads to Oracle.

If you are installing the compilation pack - you only need to install that mod pack to get all classes. If you want to remove the "dagger" from unarmed units - grab the optional file as well. This is for the Martial Artist and Monk - so that they are not holding a dagger when unarmed.

None of the custom classes overrite or conflict with default classes. This is new content added only. (the only exception is the optional file).

Installation:

Extract files and place into your games customdata folder - found at:

documents/fell seal/customdata

The file path is already setup so it should look the same in your customdata as the mod folder.

Thank you to Khallin - who gave me permission to include his Courtesan class with the modset (she is needed to unlock my Succubus class!).

Notes:

-Please provide any errors or suggestions in the comments section. Only constructive criticisms and suggestions. Anything deemed remotely hurtful, aggressive, or demeaning will be deleted and blocked.

-This compilation will be updated in the near future with more classes as I decide to add them. I still have a few more in mind including, Arcane Archer, Shadowdancer, Machinist and more.

-The optional file is only needed if you want to remove the unarmed dagger. If the game is updated by the devs - this file might be overritten as it is a core file. You will need to wait for me to post an updated file or remove the dagger manually from the core file. The only "problem" is that they will be holding the dagger in the meantime (nothing game breaking). MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE INSTALL PATH INCLUDED WITH FILE.

-Keep in mind this game is still in Early Access - meaning it may undergo significant changes which may affect custom classes. As is that is not a concern as the devs have stated they want to support modding. But any break in the mod file will be updated.

-If you are adding custom classes from multiple sources (multiple modders) - they must all be compiled as one mod pack. Classes cannot be added individually - they must be compiled in the master files within the customdata folder.
