This mod adds a set of equipment and spells themed for a White Mage or Cleric. Equipment is recolored from existing game assets, added in a non-replacing manner through Fate Patcher Core.


Added to the game:
  • 5 new weapons in the club/mace category, "Rods"
  • 5 Clothing items - a complete set of clothes benefitting practitioners of defensive magic
  • 6 new spells taught through novice scrolls.

Installation:
Download and extract to your /mods directory or download with vortex. Run Fate Patcher Core 1.0.2+ to integrate into your game's files.

Rods:
These lightweight weapons are favored by clerics novice and experienced. They lack damage output in comparison to standard clubs and maces, which they are grouped with, but make up for it in their light weight and base enchantments.

  • Novice's Rod: The most basic of rods, this wooden stick is a training implement for new clerics. 
  • Channeling Rod: A mithril metal rod with excellent mana conductivity.
  • Crystal Rod: A heavy rod topped with charged lumen crystal.
  • Exemplary Rod: This rod, made of an unknown alloy, is believed to have been given by ancient beings to their followers.
  • Clockhand: This artifact is made from the minute hand of an ancient clock once known around the world.

Clothing:
This is a complete set of equipment in a white and red style, based on the more traditional mage robes of the game. The gear offers less protection than regular mage gear, but offers built-in enchantments that should prove beneficial to any white mage. The complete set is displayed below



Spells:
White magic is a unique branch of defensive magic that relies on different principles in how mana itself is woven. Spells do not require much mana, and are not reliant on the user's magic meridians; instead, one's knowledge and skill are directly tested in their casting (All spells require a number of points in Defense Magic Skill instead of the MAGIC stat. This skill is directly buffed by this mod's equipment).
The white mage spells currently implemented are all "novice" level; more are coming.

 Binding Light
Chains of light ensnare the target, preventing it from moving for a short time. 

 Cure
Manipulate mana into a cleansing force. Poison is removed, and a small amount of healing is provided.

 Life Tap
Convert vital energies into a rush of mana, boosting all spellcraft for a time.

 Mystic Wind
Fire a short-range flurry of lights that harass a target.

 Protect
Coat the user in a minor barrier, providing additional defense for a time.

 Regen
Tie mana into a positive feedback of healing power, providing health over time.
