It is an alternative ship for starting with cloaking, but having Lanius crew, and shields. It's weapons are limited, and have a tough time starting out, but the layout suits Lanius well. It starts with 1 power in weapons, and weak weapons, but it can survive early encounters with its cloaking and engines, it is just very difficult.
