The 1.6 update for FTL included replacing a lot of UI elements in the game, that had words, with elements that have symbols, such as evasion or oxygen, or the ship management button, so the game could be easier translated. If you want the old style back, this mod tries to reverse the changes as much as possible.

The 1.6 update for FTL included replacing a lot of UI elements in the game, that had words, with elements that have symbols, such as evasion or oxygen, or the ship management button, so the game could be easier translated. If you want the old style back, this mod tries to reverse the changes as much as possible.
Another thing that bothered me with the 1.6 update is that a lot of the UI was changed to fit words of different lengths, which means there are now long bold white streaks at the top of menus. This mod also reverses that and makes these streaks as long as they need to be to fit the English words. For obvious reasons this breaks any game version other than the English one, so don't bother installing this if you want to play with another language!
Changed UI elements include:
-Ship management UI
-Store UI
-Status UI (Oxygen/Evade/Shield Status on the top left corner)
-The ship management button
-Hangar UI (including bringing back the old ship victory and quest icon)
-Options UI
(Some UI changes you see in the screenshots are from hyperspace, which is not required. The Kestrel looks different than vanilla because I had my other mod Kestrel recoloured installed)
