Interesting work, alas I had to uninstall because I lost about 15 fps on a pretty powerful system. Would probably recommend adjusting the in game contrast/ gamma sliders for a very similar effect while not taking such a performance hit. Regardless thanks for your work!
*You should include an uninstall guide because people who end up not wanting to take the performance hit will just have to uninstall/reinstall the game to get rid of patch.
How do you change the command to open the reshade menu? Shift+F2 isn't working for me for some reason (probably UPLAY related) in this particular game. The same command works fine in other games (Dying Light, GTA V, etc.) so I'm not sure what's up.
or you can change the command in dxgi.ini. Mine look like this: [INPUT] KeyMenu=33,0,0 (PageUp) KeyScreenshot=44,0,0 InputProcessing=2 KeyEffects=34,0,0 (PageDown)
Game won't launch with the ReShade dxgi.dll in the Bin folder. Some sort of anti-cheat, despite ReShade not being a cheat. Not running any other mods or programs related to FC5, and this only started after installing this.
Edit: Using ReShade 4.0.2, if that matters. That's the one on their website.
Hmm, try downloading the latest Reshade from the actual site. Choose 'Direct3D 10+' when installing and just download all the effects when prompted. That's what I did and mine runs flawlessly and my rig isn't too much different from yours.
Awesome preset, thanks. I'm not losing any frames because my rig is pretty powerful. If you ever update the preset I recommend you set the toggle key for the effects to 'Insert', that way anyone can toggle between vanilla and the preset by pressing that button
