Thank you kindly Heike! Small changes in mechanics and gameplay we have in every Far Cry game, but in general FC5 follows the same traditional manner as the other Far Cries, at least in my eyes.

A lot of good detail in these shots. I was just watching the trailer -- it looks good, beautiful country. Uh oh, cougars! My Arthur in RDR2 got killed by one -- again -- last night. We don't see them too often around here, but unfortunately they can jump over the wall into the back yard (coyotes can't).

Are you enjoying the game so far?

It wasn't really a big effort from my side to capture any landscape or scenes because the game itself provides amazing details in almost everything!
We can just grab a nice Reshade preset and charge!
I've finished the game story already. The scenario was quite interesting but the vistas and nature were by far the best aspects of it regarding screenarchery.
Cougars...what an amazing animal! I've heard that it has the biggest leap(with or without momentum) between any land animal. But it is also dangerous when it feels threatened or when it needs to feed itself. Domesticated animals are sometimes in its menu but hopefully it doesn't happen often.
      Many thanks Laird!

When the cougars come down, out of the mountains to the foot hills -- they are hungry, very hungry. No game for whatever reason up there, but well-fed cats and poodles are yummy.
      Spoiler:
      Show
I don't have any pix of mountain lions, but I surprised this
bobcat and he jumped back over the wall. He's about the size of a German shepherd, but you can see how scrawny he is -- hungry.

The way you describe it indicates that cougars' and bobcats' natural habitat is somehow unbalanced and that's a pity!
I don't like domesticated animals being eaten by them but i equally don't like animals to be put in the animals extinction list.
Man is smarter and can find ways to protect his pets and property, but wild animals can't and often get into despair mode.

Every few years I get an itch to play a Far Cry game lol, perhaps it's time to finally pick this up :p
Although I'll inevitably end up complaining about the animal behavior with animals that I've been around/seen IRL lol
    Beautiful shots :)

As i said to the others the game is really worthy in terms of capturing vistas and generally scenery imagery.
It has a cool story too.
I've heard complaints about the animal hunting mechanics but if one chooses, he can ignore animal hunting completely cause it doesn't affect gameplay in any serious way. Just like in Skyrim. Many people don't like to hunt but if a wild animal charges, you have to kill it in order not to been killed.
      Thanks for passing by Dylan!

Oh I don't mind killing the animals in Far Cry lol, they aren't real. But it seems like every predator in Far Cry games has been starving for weeks whenever you bump into them :P

Very beautiful captures of the nature and landscapes, bro! And Dio always made a souful performance, no matter the song! For sure will be missed forever. The story of the game also sounds pretty interesting!

Yeap nature and scenery is the big forte of this game!
Dio's voice was just epic and so melodic despite his usual angry tones! He will be missed for sure!
As for the story, religious sects always brought drama to peoples' lifes and the game does an pretty nice job on that!
      Many many thanks sis!
