Take the Footpath to the Heavens - Enjoy the beauty of Kyrat.

This mod will reduce the likelihood of all encounters to 1/10 of their original value. This means you will no longer be attacked by eagles, dholes and leopards every other minute and can instead enjoy a calm frolic through the woods. Similarly, you will no longer come across a constant stream of patrols, skirmishes and hostage situations.
All of these things will still happen and Kyrat is still a dangerous warzone, but you now have more time to enjoy the beauty of Kyrat.
Take your time, this works best with a lower timescale. You can find a file inside JRavens' mod called fcc_master.fcc_master.lua that will do this for you.
Installation
Drop patch_hd.dat and patch_hd.fat into the game's data_win32 folder. I have also included the loose files in a "generated" folder so you can combine Quiet Kyrat with other mods using Dunia Tools.
